I'm posting a few links to Newsmax. I read it every day to determine what kind of stories (many of them actually are true) are being told on Newsmax.

An example of a typical headline might be something like, "The Coming Obama Created Stock Market Crash."

Here are some literal titles and their links. Realize these are the same folk who brought you "Iraq: the Non Movie."

"U.S. Intel: Iran Plans Nuclear Strike on U.S."LINK

More in extended.

"Obama Flipping and Floundering in Middle East" Link

"Obama Backpeddles on Meeting with Rogue Nations"  Link

These are just some of the stories; but the most interesting part of this neocon publication is that it has a lot more stories (and by stories, sometimes they're probably completely fiction and other times exaggerations, etc.) about Obama than about McCain!

So don't buy the new neocon/Bush/McCain tripe when they start talking about nuclear attacks FROM Iran.  It's probably just as accurate as the WMDs in Iraq.  Fabrications.

Besides that we all know that almost everyone but Bush agrees we cannot go to war with Iran because of lack of manpower since we're already in two wars, one of them totally unnecessarily and illegal.

The troops won the War in Iraq.  Bush lost the peace.

The McCain and Republican camp are sounding pretty desperate. Resorting to fiction.

very good information

It is important that we keep up with the newspeak/claptrap that is being published by the Republicans and to establish rebuttals to their nonsense and fear mongering so we can tell others.

And, as you say, Mike, one of the great starting points is to remember some of the fear mongering lies they have told in the past that have now been proven wrong--the most outstanding of which to date has been the WMD lie.

Lies that Obama told about Bosnia? What Republican publication did you get that from?

No one accused Clinton (either one of them) of starting the war, either, if we're talking about Iraq. Hillary DID vote for the war, though.
