P.U.M.A. Passion
The critics of the group, and others that are essentially against Obama's nomination, assert that they are really run by Republicans trying to fool Democrats. And that they are creating the perception of an intraparty divide. Some have called them racists or worse.
Critics also point to the fact that Murphy donated to John McCain during the 2000 election.
Baker cannot understand how Murphy could claim to be a real Democrat and then vote for McCain, especially in light of Clinton's public support of Barack Obama. She says it's disingenuous to support McCain, a candidate who "doesn't support womens' rights or the rights of gays and lesbians".

I just love it when the title of their post is it may cause a stir but they continue to post anyway.
I did not really have the total understanding of the evilness----
Just figured it was our few trolls here who liked to overdramatize

This season has broken my heart beyond beief..
I cannot beieve the party would decide the few are greater than the members and the voters...
NO the PUMA was NOT founded by Republicans but you can threaten that all you wish. Truth is it is Democrats who want their party back in a bad way....
Obama's friendships with thugs and haters began to make a difference....but still would have voted whoever the nominee was...But then it became SOO obvious that MOve On was backing him and the party was highjacking the election to Obama with the media bias like I had never seen before....that had to be done with tons of money because the media cannot survive without the ratings which correlates into money due to increased advertising.....
I will vote for the person that I can trust will not sell this country out and that will NEVER be Obama....that is a vote made by a FREE American (me) and all those who differ with the party which has become more like a Corporation...
I still do and am a proud supporter of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton......
I am still a Dem and the founders and cofounders of PUMA as well as the approx 250 other groups affiliated are...I had lost touch with so many of them due to the DNC cutting the ability of Hillary's groups from contacting eachother in early May, I found them in those groups.......
Some WAY more active than I have ever been and absolute die hard Dems.
Check your information for TRUTH.......
I will never allow a vote of mine to either work directly against my party's nominee...nor will I make a symbolic vote of protestation with something as sacred to me as my vote.
But, as always....that's just me.........
And I do so wish I could be there and absolutely don't want to let Hillary down....
But as I said this season has been so down and dirty and thus far have not been able to get myself to think of voting for someone I do not trust and am heartbroken over the party's behavior.
First time not voting a straight ticket (Dem) will be indeed hard and I really don't like thinking about it...
You keep on keeping on for you and your Dad....
And I am in such hopes things will work out the RIGHT way whatever that may mean and I do so mean that..... Thought this year , slam dunk Dems after W but don't know now....
Have a great day
