I recognize there are a tiny handful of Obama supporters, on PB, that are willing to respectfully converse with Hillary supporters and tolerate questioning or dissention about Sen. Obama. However, the huge majority of Obama supporters / recent "Dems" do not have such tolerance.
I will not behave like other posters and threaten to leave, but actually keep reposting. This will be my very last post to PB, but I will read all replies before leaving.
Please understand your bile and vitriol, directed at Democrats who support Sen. Clinton, will have a price. Most of her supporters represent the historic base of the Democratic Party. I am more angered by the disrespect from Sen. Obama's supporters than I am by his campaign. However, this anger at his supporters has driven me to the decision to vote against the Democratic Party. I am not voting FOR the republican, but I am voting directly AGAINST the democrat.
Contained within the fury of Hillary supporters, there is a message to the DNC. The primary process was flawed and defective, but phone calls and letters will not lead to any change. I think a defeat in November might.
I understand Sen. Clinton is now backing Obama, but I am not going to discard my own intelligence and blindly follow her . . . can everyone else say the same?
I cannot wish you good luck, so I simply say goodbye.

Dessent brings, hateful words, sleezy tactics, trashy behavior, anger, to be beaten, and sometimes death. Dessent is the health of our Democracy. Without it, we are not a Democracy. Many injustices have been done in this Country, and the only tool we have is dissent. That is real change and real hope.
Well I'm not leaving. I wish you would stay and lets try and stop fighting and start at least trying to start Uniting.
But even that request was rejected by people here who call themselves Hillcrats. Frankly, its just hard for me to believe they really. But thats my opinion.
I posted a simple button a found today on the barackobama site, and was accused of trying to make a profit on this site. After I laughed I thought about it, and REALLY wished I had thought of it. I'd be paying off my house right now. lolol

I never quite. And I am not against women. I just dont want us to fight the way we do. I'm determined to stay and help make things better.
I will say, I have never been so popular on any site before. In both negative and positive ways. Mostly positive.
I truly believe in what the bible says about love.

The only attacks by Obama supporters I have seen , were against the smears , lies and misrepresentations. But other than that, I did not see what you are claiming.

I really hope that people think about others when they vote. A no-vote or a McCain vote will hurt the American people who are hurting already. The war will not end.
Lastly, I don't buy into the 'victim' and 'being used' by the DNC and Obama. HRC is one of the strongest woman in hitory. She has never let anyone push her anywhere. Statements like that discredit HRC.
HRC is going to work to put Obama in office. I would hope that her supporters show her the credibilty and respect she desreves for this.

have been very please, even though there was disagreements, (which there should be), it was mostly civil and somewhat productive, IMO
I just got back from being gone most of the afternoon, so have not had a chance to review the posts while I was gone----
Again, I can't tell by generalities, and would like to see some specifics.
I also haven't been on PB that long, I came after all the primaries and understand that it was pretty hot and heavy, we had two great candidates-----
With the primary being over, we are all looking forward to the UNITY of the two campaigns and how stong that will make us-----and party on forward to take as many seats as we can.
I think it would be too bad for you to miss that----we all desearve lots of fun and celebrating after the last 8 years of BushCo, and a hard fought primary.
If you are specific with your complaints, I know they can be resolved----I have witnessed that while I have been here.
