'This above all, To thine ownself be true...' My principles are who I am, and I will use them to get our Country out of this mess. Obama will be a bigger mess, and I will not vote for him. He has tooooo many personal hate issues to deal with.

Soo, does this mean you're not crossing over to the Dark Side afer all? c'mon, Hillary hasn't given up on us yet, and we can't give up on her.

Sandi
By Rubymom May 17th 2008 at 12:25 am EDT
Sandi, I could say the exact same thing. I have 4 children & 5 grandchildren and I am 46 years young. I NEED to find a way to help our country too. Not for myself, but for my children. All I can think about these days is this horrible process that is going on and how we "the people" are not being heard. The evidence against Obama is clearly out there and the DNC and higher uppers see it. So, how could they ignore it. People like you and me and many others on this site should find a way to make a big difference and HELP our country. I am game to help with anything. Any ideas let me know. I'm talking about now and for the long run!

Rubymom, go to Link and click on sign up to make phone calls. Talk to people in Oregon and other states left to vote. Our issues are real issues and hearing from people that are real life make it happen.

I am a proud supporter of the Honorable Senator, Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Thank you, I will. I called in Texas and you know what... I made hours of phone calls and I only talked to ONE person who was for Obama. This is why I cannot understand the numbers. I will be calling thanks and let me know anything else. lol
Re: Sandi

....they ignore it because the shit isn't true! You however, want every negative thing you read to be true. Fan of the National Enquirer?
Re: Sandi
By Rubymom May 17th 2008 at 12:38 am EDT
Sorry, I do not have time to read the tabloids! I research the candidates and have even ordered tapes of Rev. Wright's sermons because I couldn't believe that a candidate for CIC could have sat there and listened to what the news reported Obama did. I found out myself. Have you listened to ANY of Rev. Wright's FULL SERMONS! That is just one issue. I do my research on candidates. You could be blinded by the bias news media, but I refuse to attack you.
Re: Sandi
By Donia19 May 17th 2008 at 1:39 am EDT
Rubymom,

Since you have so thoroughly researched the candidates, then tell me what you've discovered about Hillary's spirtual mentor (Coe)of 15 years who praises Hitler, and of McCain's pastor who stated that "Katrina" was God's punishment for gays?
Re: Sandi
By Pale Rider May 17th 2008 at 2:17 am EDT
Now Donia, be reasonable here. You don't really expect her to find out the truth about her OWN candidate and her associates do you? She only wants to find out the bad stuff about the opponent. That way she reinforces her own bias and makes her feel righteous about her choice.

How silly of me - surely you're correct in this matter!

Too Many Hate Issues?
By Donia19 May 17th 2008 at 12:37 am EDT
Sandi,
He has too many hate issues to deal with? Isn't that like the pot calling the kettle black? No pun intended.
Re: Too Many Hate Issues?
By Rubymom May 17th 2008 at 12:40 am EDT
There are a few hate issues that I would like explained such as the ones he listened to for 20 YEARS!
Re: Too Many Hate Issues?
By Donia19 May 17th 2008 at 12:42 am EDT
Quit hiding behind the Rev. Wright issue. As noted many times, Hillary spiritual mentor of 15 years praises Hitler.
Re: Too Many Hate Issues?
By Rubymom May 17th 2008 at 12:45 am EDT
QUIT DUCKING THE REV WRIGHT ISSUE. Obama supporters want to throw other things into the fire when something is brought up; when the things they refer to have no substance to what I am referring too.
Re: Too Many Hate Issues?

Donia19, I didn't expect an answer because I never getone from you guys.
Re: Too Many Hate Issues?
By Donia19 May 17th 2008 at 1:40 am EDT
I'm not ducking the issue - the man is a nut!
Re: Too Many Hate Issues?
By Donia19 May 17th 2008 at 1:45 am EDT
Bill Clinton thought enough of Rev. Wright to ask his advice during his Monica debacle.

The man is a nut - I will vouch for that. All I want to know is why haven't Hillary's spirtual mentor and McCain's pastor been giving only a passing glance in reference to their controversial sermons on Hitler and gays?
Re: Too Many Hate Issues?
By Edison Carter May 17th 2008 at 1:47 am EDT
Its because you have nothing on them. Just unfounded rumors.
Re: Too Many Hate Issues?
By charctine May 17th 2008 at 12:56 am EDT
I don't think anybody is hiding behind the Wright issue. I think it is a very valid comcern. It goes to character. And I for one think that character is important for the President of the United States. UM, LOOK AT BUSH...HE HAS NONE!

Dem in Westwego, here is a news flash for you, because we don't support Obama, has nothing to do with his race. It has to do with his character. Dr. Martin Luther King, said he had a dream that his children would be judged on their character, we had judged Obama and found both his character lacking as well as his judgement and lack of experience. I am from Illinois, and he has done nothing for the betterment of it, I don't want the same to happen to my country.

Those who think that Hillary supporters are racist, are the bigots themselves. This party is broken. The values it once had have been replaced by liberal extreme hatred even within our own party.

You can ignore the voters, especially in Michigan and Florida, but while you win the battle, you will lose the war. You can't keep attacking Hillary supporters with everything from gender attacks, reverse racism, cultural attacks, religious discrimination and class discrimination. You can't degrade half the party and think we will just come to task and vote for Obama and all is forgiven, like it or not you need us, and we are all but out the door. Obama does not reflect our values, perhaps we don't agree with his policy plans, but we have the right to support our candidate in a dignified way and even choose not to vote at all or vote outside our party if we feel someone else is more reflective of our values.

Our hopes are still on Hillary as President and Obama as Vice President. This would have meant 16 years in the white house, health care, an economic plan that would have meant a strong dollar and a Green Plan that would have meant American jobs. That was what would have been best. But if we decide that Obama's inexperience and ego, (which goes to judgement by not doing what is best for the big extended picture of the party, 16 years) is lacking, than we can go somewhere else with our vote.

Perhaps, just perhaps, Hillary will run as an Independent! If not, Hillary 2012, after McCain 4 years in office. The numbers do not support Obama when it comes to the Electorial vote, 30% of the Dems will not vote for him in the 1st chair, and 15-18 prcent said they were undecide or just will not vote.

Obama has been campaigning in Florida and Michigan which he is not suppose to do until after the May meeting about the seating of the delegates, but Obama, also campaigned in Florida before the election before they voted, which he also was not suppore to do.

The Florida, Michigan and Obama issue, is just too much like Bush/Gore. But this time the election is being manipulated to appease have a party while it throws those Dems who helped define the positive core values that once made up the Dem. party. But the party is not what it was in the 90's, and I am forever sadden for it.

Taking my vote elsewhere...if Hillary is not the nominee.

It's amazing how many people we have on this blogsite that just joined in the past month or less who come here just to talk about how they won't vote for Obama if he's nominated. Where were these people when the campaign was still young? Where was their concern then? And don't give me Rev. Wright crap as an answer. That doesn't fly. It just shows you as either a troll, or a blind follower.

People failed to do their homework, but it was homework, papers like London Times Online was running investigative reports following Obama's money fairies. The media gave Obama a free pass because they were afraid to be labeled a racist, which not confronting Obama and giving him a free pass was, in itself, racist.

Many voters, have begun calling the DNC wanting their vote back after all the stuff starting finally started to come out, but way to late. His character and judgement have cause a lot of people to change their minds, its a hard lesson, but maybe, people will finally learn, pretty speeches does not = a positive role model with good judgement or experience.

Some have tried to correct their era in the best ways they can, but others, hang to denial.

When it comes to financial issues, Hillary definitely doesn't want that can of worms opened. Count on it.
As to "homework", check my links below for some more assignments. Then search youtube, or the rest of the internet if you wish, for more information on Doug Coe, leader of Hillary's secretive church.
McCain has plenty of problems of his own in this area.

You REALLY love that word "denial" don't you? Speaking of which, have you checked the numbers to see who the nominee will be this week? Speaking of "denial"!

Obama is going to be POTUS..
By jenniforhillary May 17th 2008 at 2:12 am EDT
in his wet dreams....

Obama couldn't win a president of my block, much less of the USA. This whole thing is some sort of joke, but I am not laughing...

You can say it until you lose consciousness, but OBAMA ain't nothing but a racist, lying sack of shit and that is the truth.

You need to calm it down a decible and perhaps consider COUNSELING! You are just making people who try to be reasonable incensed!

That mouth and attitude, is why most of the rest of us will not support you or Obama. You can't throw a tantrum and get your way, we are not your parents, if we were a switch would have been taken to you more often.

See "jenniforhillary" above. BOTH SIDES have very hateful people. It does nothing positive for anyone in our party. (just my opinion)

Hillary's spritual mentor - Doug Coe and "The Fellowship" a.k.a. "The Family"
By Pale Rider May 17th 2008 at 2:58 am EDT
Check out the following links to see if this is what you think your church should be teaching and how they should be conducting themselves if their *true aim* is to worship God:

I really like the way Coe compares the church to the mafia.
Durn. 2nd link doesn't work.

What would Clinton want us to do...
By Dee May 17th 2008 at 3:59 am EDT
If and when Obama is the nominee, Clinton has already stated she will go out full force to stump and campaign for him. So if she asks you to vote for him so that we can put a Democratic president in the White House you would not carry out her wishes. If not , then you really are not a supporter of Hillary. It's what she would want you to do.
