How dare she? How dare Clinton keep winning states! Doesn't she listen to the pundits when they scream "it's over?"

Doesn't she realize that the DNC has annointed Obama and that this is his party now?

She keeps listening to the will of the people. How far can that take her?

Underfunded, with the media biased against her, how dare she keep winning states?

I think we found the answer to our question.

Don't take it personal. That is not about you. Obama seems to have a record of laundering money, being a poll in the Chicago Combine, pay and play politics. No amount of lying will delete those issues. Maybe an honest investigation would serve to delineate the wheat from the chaff.
It's not a daily dose of hate.

It is how people feel. I happen to believe it is ridiculous that any super-delegate will endorse either candidate JUST TO END THE PRIMARY.

What kind of elected officials are they if the would rather shut this down now and deny the remaining states and Puerto Rico their voices as the DNC and Obama have denied Michigan and Florida theirs.

There is a huge devisive split and it has been caused by Barack Obama.

He who claims to unify has split this party wide open with his refusal to include 2.3 million votes. Make no mistake - he shut it down.
His dream does not include me or any of the other voters who will have their votes thrown away - unless it reaches a point where he feels safe in counting them.

Holding this decision is absurd. Putting it in the hands of the candidates is even more absured. It is just plain chicken of Howard Dean.

Now Dean, the DNC and Obama want to manipulate and barter the results of both elections. My, how democratic is that. Election returns that are changed to help a certain candidate and end the campaign of another candidate who is right on his heels.

This is far from over and I would greatly appreciate if the DNC, Pelosi, Obama and camp, the media and now the super-delegates would stop trying to deny even more voters their voice and stop trying to shut down Hillary Clinton. She has every right to campaign and could still pull this off.

I wish her the best if for no other reason than she has refused to quit, refused to let the DNC dictate to her candidacy.

I pray that something happens and she wins. I happen to believe that with this world in the state it is in we need an EXPERIENCED president - not another novice filling us with dreams and promises.

I agree totally, and I do take it personally. It would (notice I don't say "will," because it won't happen) affect me personally if Barack Obama should be elected president, because it means I belong to a political party that will throw its ideals by the roadside to follow, open-mouthed, some flute-playing snake charmer who won't even tell us what the name of his tune is!

It's a Conspiracy
By Donia19 May 15th 2008 at 6:55 pm EDT
I guess it's easier to be paranoid, and think that there is this grand conspiracy against HRC.
There are two contests left, and I will be glad it's over. I just want to get to November - be it Hillary or Obama!!!!

If you do not realize it is a grand conspiracy, you have not been reading any of the books about Hillary Clinton since Kerry lost. It is all written.

NARAL Whiplash
By Democrat in Santa Cruz, CA May 15th 2008 at 7:03 pm EDT
Clinton National Campaign Co-Chair Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones and other Members of Congress held a press conference last night to discuss Hillary Clinton’s strong pro-choice record. The Politico’s Ben Smith reports “Amie Parnes emails that more than a dozen congresswomen who endorsed Clinton gathered in front of the DCCC to express disappointment in NARAL's Obama endorsement. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz said ‘we feel abandoned by this organization today.’ Rep. Shelley Berkeley called the endorsement ‘extremely unnecessaryâ€&trade ; and ‘inappropri ate.’ Rep. Jane Harmon called it ‘a betrayal.’& acirc;€

No Race Between Candidates have ever been so tight (not to mention that our candidate did that nearly all volunteers in a grassroots movement, being outspent) and kept competitive like no one else has ever done in history.

Remember
By pcmoore28 May 15th 2008 at 7:18 pm EDT
The Clintons have an inner strength I could not even come close to, ever. Remember when Bill was getting the shaft everyday by the Republicans? I really don't know how the man got out of bed every morning and faced them all. Hillary has shown she also has a spine. She and Bill are great role models for all of us.

clinton began with the silver spoon
By Liz May 16th 2008 at 8:16 am EDT
If Hillary had managed her campaign better, she would be the winner today.

She had the brand name.

She began the race with the most money.

She began the race with the largest backing of the DNC.

And you are right. The race has been close.

As far as the press goes, the only one who has gotten an almost completely free ride has been McCain.

Yeah I wonder how many Wyomings add up to one New York....8 or 9 maybe, or how many Iowa's add up to one California....2 or 3 maybe?

How many big states as he won, swing states... what about the 2.3 million in FL and MI....

she proves she's nothing but class. You may point out she's losing among her own party, but her loss would be nothing compared to the way the Democratic "winner" will be trouEnced in November. Why do we keep reading that anyone who wins the Dem nomination will be president? That might have been true with a universally acceptable candidate like Hillary, but it won't happen with a candidate who's unappealing to half his own party, as well as the conservative WASPS who make up the Republican party.
With truth comes the good and the not so good.

She must be vote deaf!
By Democrat in Las Vegas, NV May 16th 2008 at 4:32 pm EDT
If the Democrat primary were a presidential election, then by the states already won it is Hillary by a landslide. She now has 300 Electoral College votes and the best Obama can possibly muster is 238. Only 270 votes are need to win the presidency. Yes, I counted Michigan and Florida. Even if I didn't count these two states, she still beats Obama 256 to 238. The presidential election winner is determined by-winner-takes-all Electoral College votes not a by a caucus or even super-delegates. So why isn't this being used as a selling point for Hillary?

Here's the real question...

How can she beat McCain if she can't beat Obama? There goes all of your arguments out the window :)
Re: She must be vote deaf!
By Edison Carter May 16th 2008 at 6:21 pm EDT
Obama beat himself. With 90% of black people voting for him and every possible benefit from the party and the media he couldnt get enough delegates. That suggests to me that the general election will be a landslide in her favor.
