A few of us were notifed via email that Michael Link is no longer with the DNC:

"Sorry, but yesterday was my last day at the DNC."

As most of us know much of the DNC has moved to Chicago with Obama as the Democratic Nominee.

I assume Michael Link will be replaced from the pool in Chicago DNC Team.

In the interim any reporting should to the email address that's in the right column (when you're on the blog) for the time being per Michael Link.

I'm off to SEIU, where we'll be doing some exciting projects. Matt Ortega will be doing a lot of my daily tasks for the time being.

If there was an announcement that a Hillary supporter was going to be running and moderating this blog for the DNC, s/he would find fault with that person that they had sold out to Obama or something.

If you are referring to me, I DO NOT PROMOTE ANTHING REPUBLICAN. And I am all for BUILDING the Party. But I do not think that is what Obama is doing. I also do not promote CENSORSHIP, like you seem to.

Hillary's blog was the MOST MODERATED AND CENSORED on the web
If we get someone over from her site, you can bet this place will change to Party Building.
But, I also believe that it will be ran more like Obamas, with is lightly moderated
That would actually be best, because many people who could have contributed, were held out of Hillarys site IMO

There's no way the o camp will have a Hillary supporter as a moderator here. The real extreme change in the DNC is about to happen and the O propaganda machine will start the censorship deal.

In a major shakeup at the Democratic National Committee -- and a departure from tradition -- large parts of the committee's operations are relocating to Chicago to be fully integrated with the Obama campaign.

The DNC's political department, housed in Washington, D.C., will be dramatically rebuilt, with staffers offered a choice of moving to Chicago, joining state operations, or staying in Washington, DNC spokeswoman Karen Finney said.

Kicked to the kurb

Sounds like the near-bankrupt DNC is cutting overhead and slashing staff. They are bouncing around at near bottom and have already been taking cost-cutting measures such as shutting down the Official Open Thread of the DNC Blog.

Of course, it hasn't really been "open" for quite some time as Michael was doing the bidding of the Blog Queen Pammy, hopping like a frog whenever she fired a nasty-gram his way about someone on the blog posting things in disagreement to her wacko opinions.

Now that things are shutting down in this site you can expect to see some big changes on this blog as well. The Mexican IT experts they hired from the local WalMart parking lot have done such a wonderful job "tweaking" the Official Open Thread of the DNC Blog that they will be over here soon "tweaking" away.

Oh, BTW, "tweaking" is Mexican slang for pissing into the server.
