Honor Veterans Day by Helping Congressman Mark Udall, the Denver Dems, and Democrats Work Send Care Packages to Our Troops in Iraq
This Saturday afternoon, Congressman Mark Udall and Democratic volunteers will put together care packages for our troops serving in Iraq and returned veterans at Denver's VA Hospital. We hope you can join us then. We also need your help today: please donate care package materials from the list below. Here's how...
To Donate (three easy ways!):
Bring items from the list below to the Colorado Democratic Party HQ at 777 Santa Fe Drive in Denver. Please deliver them before 12:00 noon on Friday, November 9th, or contact Erin Egan to arrange a pick-up: eegan@democratswork.org or 303-856-8849.
You can also bring the items with you to VFW Post 501 in Denver on Saturday, November 10th when we will be putting together the care packages with Congressman Mark Udall. If you are planning to bring the items on Saturday, please email Erin to let us know what you're bringing. We want to make sure we've got enough of everything.
You also can donate $5 to $10 and we will happily buy the items for you.List of Requested Items:
