I'm not sure I agree with the shutting of Fox out of the Democratic debates. It makes it easy to paint the candidates as wimps. 'If you can't stand up to Fox than how do you stand up to (fill in the threat of the week).' Of course they a mouth piece of the GOP, and of course it isn't a fair stage for Democrats to present their ideas but really, there isn't a network that isn't biased against democrats anymore.
Except maybe one.
I think Jon Stewart should host a debate of the democratic candidates on Comedy Central. Their viewers are already more informed than those on Fox and how's that for a meta-message for Fox; We democrats consider you less creditable than a the network with puppets making crank phone calls.

Of course the Comedy Central idea rocks also.
Let Colbert do the Republicans and John Stewart do the Democrats. Or they could mix them up and have McCain debate Kucinich and Edwards and Obama debate Romney and Rudy. You get the picture. A night of fun for all. Except of course the ones with no sense of humor. Wouldn't that show up fast?
