Hillary This; Barack That. FOCUS PEOPLE!
Dateline - Wed May 07, 2008
I'm sorry but reading the list of posts, too many of which are attacks on one Democratic candidate or the other, just makes me sick. By all means promote your candidate of choice with all the vigor of a true partisan but do not attack other Democrats! Don't boo Democrats...period.
Meanwhile, back in the real world, the Republicans are laughing with glee and Rush is as close to ecstatic as I've ever seen him, all because of our infighting. Polling data even suggests more than 35% of each candidate's supporters will not vote for much less work for the other candidate if their choice doesn't get the nomination.

There are real issues and real differences between the Parties that we should be focused on.
The middle class is being systematically attacked and a tipping point may be looming. But what are we taking about; Hillary this and Barack that.
Our educational system has been corrupted by corporate cash and they are already dictating too much of the curriculum. But what are we taking about; Hillary this and Barack that.
Our biggest export has become jobs and as a result we are funding not only terrorism but the military build up of China. But what are we taking about; Hillary this and Barack that.
Gas has tripled in price and this hurts only the middle class and lower income Americans. But what are we taking about; Hillary this and Barack that.
Both Hillary and Barack have said repeatedly that this election isn't about any individual candidate and yet what are we taking about? Hillary this and Barack that.
Just a though but maybe we should be focused on the future of this country and electing more Democrats to office. If we elect more Democrats at every level, from local to national, maybe we can make the changes we all know must be made. Now is the time for all good people to come to the aid of their party. Please stop booing Democrats - it will really ruin Rush's year.
Your mission should you decide to accept it is to vote for and work for the eventual nominee of the Democratic Party - whether or not it's is your primary candidate. Here endith the lesson (rant).
