What Makes You Angry?

Anger. Sometimes it's a great thing to have. Sometimes it fuels us and drives us to accomplish something that has to get accomplished. But sometimes, it just lurks around inside us looking for a way to get out.
So. What is it that really makes you angry? Not the first thing that comes to mind... but the thing that REALLY does it?
For me, the first thing I might say is that people being negative and threatening to vote for McCain if they don't get their way makes me angry.
But that isn't right, that's not the actual thing that causes me to be angry. What causes me anger is - bottom line - the fear that somehow we lose this election and Republicans get another four years. Any time someone writes something which activates that fear, then I start to feel upset, and I start to think about how Al Gore - genius and statesman - lost to W. It seems like if that can happen, then there's no end to how bad it can get. And then comes the anger, and usually I control it pretty well, but sometimes not so much.
Personal attacks on my friends and on my family piss me off a lot too. Can't help that much.
So what is it, I want to know, that REALLY causes you to be angry? And how can we pool it all together into something useful to accomplish our common goal?

i saw it again today on the subway - a grown woman, must have been about 40 years old, set her cup full of coffee on the floor of the train, got up and walked out at the next stop.
I swear, i wanted to pick it up and throw it at her as the doors were closing, "you forgot your litter!"
...LOL, we'll you asked us to tell you honestly.

I do not limit this to family and friends. I consider it a core value by which I should be measured.
I fully understand people who need more time to think. I probably don't understand as well, those who attach as if "love at first sight." I don't criticize that, I just don't understand it. The pisser, as I said, is when the facts change their mind.
By carefully understanding your relationships you presumably are able to commit to the cause (if political). You've double checked the positions and the causes. Time will change everything. But, in the same way, it should change us. And the relationship that was built can continue because we both have adapted over time.
I built that kind of relationship with Hillary Clinton. I understand her cause, her values, etc. Her position, just like Obama's, will evolve. Probably for the better.

Sorry, but Obama has not found that magic with me. And I may in the end, piss you off. But not for the reasons you might project.
Not only is this an amazingly important election, it will result in some incredibly difficult decisions and policy (changes). The nation is in debt to our great grandchildren. The dollar is worth 50-75 cents. And nobody wants to raise taxes.
I believe there will be a huge congressional turnover. Democrats will win large!! With a balanced budget and depressed economy I see a very difficult time for either Hillary or Obama funding their dreams (and mine). On the other hand, McCain will face the same problem. Congress can do as it pleases one way or the other. McCain, by default, cannot be McSame. A democratic congress will overrule him.
Therefore, should I choose to vote McCain over Obama it would be solely because I believe democrats will be in power regardless and I will have a president whom I can trust and anticipate. Barak has not reached that place with me yet.
It may be more of a gut feeling but there are way too many if's with Obama. Why do we not hear of his family in the media, his mon re-married and raised Obama but we don't hear anything about his upbringing, what about his siblings and where are they? All we get is it is none of our business although the entire history of his rival is! The outrageous and un apologized for statements by His wife!
Then I am the bad guy, labeled a racist and a dumb Floridian. All that makes me mad as hell and just shuts me down.
In all honesty I have no idea of what will happen if he is elected. I can only hope that if he does win he will become a good president. His resume does not make me want to hire him but he does have a gift of gab!

Although I have always voted democratic, I have on rare occasions voted for a republican. Although never for president.
Blindly pulling a lever requires absolutely no brain. You might as well take all registered voters and disqualify them. Then count only the independents.
Fundamentally and philosophically I find little in common with republicans. Still, I absolutely believe in divided government in the constitutional sense. Not democratic congress and republican president as analysts have defined it. Rather, in three equal parts of government.
Because of that tripartite government, I have no fear of a strong democratic congress and a weak liberal veteran republican president.
Yet we hear very little from any politician during election years about this ugly side of our society. It's a state by state problem seems to be the general feeling. We hear about bills that will be so watered down by the time they reach our children their useless.
We read about millions of dollars being funneled from the government to " Family Groups and Organizations" that spend the money on anti-gay crusades, rather then funding a community center or offering parenting classes, substance abuse classes, health classes, day care.
The children are consistently forgotten. They have gotten about 1 percent of the media in this election. Neither medical plan is adequate enough so we can't even credit that to the kids.
I think the biggest disccusion on kids was in the Texas Debate when Obama thought a second language should be mandated.
There were no calsl to find money to fund school lunches on a broader level, no calls to create a bill to stop these anti-gay groups from siphoning money away from the government that are meant for the children.
Its sad and it makes me angry.
