From a friend of mine on another website:

"The picture below is emblematic of Papa Bush. He looks at a situation and thinks "Hehe, yeah, this is the solution". However, the rest of the world can see he's got it all arse-backwards. But no matter how long he looks at the situation, he can't see why it's backwards. It looks right to him and that is all that matters."

he would be hilarious--except that he is president of this country and that is frightening. It really is.

gosh I hope so
I have tried to be grateful that we have not impeached---so that he can't be pardoned.
I want him brought up on international high crimes charges---along with his cronies

Barack and congress are going to be so busy trying to undo all the damage.

International crime charges? It will never happen. You should accept that and move on. Sorry, but I'm a pragmatist. (Maybe that's the same as being a pessimist?) Best to relegate Bush to the dustbin of history.

Pragmatically...

prosecute the criminals of civil society where the means of direct accountability do not obtain

No one pardons after an impeachment, that's what it is, they are kicked out of office...we just didn't have the noobs to kick him out, cuz we like him.

It's after the impeachment process that charges are filed. We haven't even gotten to first base, other than read the resolutions and get it on record.

Zippers down.

Hey, Henry Kissingers awake! He was sleeping through the 2008 war drums on opening night. Hilarious.

Not so hilarious Georgia was beating it's drums too.

Oh, silly Arius, you just flipped the pic! Hahahahaha!

I am secretly very appreciative that you notice incorrectly displayed flags. I have a habit of pointing out display mistakes and worn flags that should be replaced, and I don't care who it is flying it. I think it's the least people can do to show some respect to the flag.

We have that in common. I can't stand to see a beat up tattered flag. And so many people just simply don't care. It's sad.

If only that was the case. But if you notice, Snake, Kissenger is STILL sitting to the right of Bush (to our left). If the pic was flipped, he'd be on the other side.

Sorry, but accurate pic.

BTW: The flag IS supposed to have the blue field on the right on the starboard side of vehicles, ships, and peoples' right shoulder patches.

I really wasn't doubting the authenticity, just pokin' at you a little.

Yeah, I know about the display on ships, vehicles, and aircraft, but I never really liked the deal on troops' shoulders. I accept that that is the policy, but it bothers me for some reason I can't nail down.

the jaundiced dude and this pix was on news, my son howled when he saw him holding flag backwards, although it's forward to him. Let's be glad he didn't go for upside down flag cake.

Arius! Henry Kissinger is the gray haired dude wearing glasses and sitting below Bush, not next to Bush. Henry's next to Pasty, who's getting her hair done.

The lady in the center bottom is stunning. GWB just finished giving her a new do and removing the cape.
