As of 2007, there are about 138 million taxpayers in the United States. We may as well round that up to 140 million by April of 2009.

700 Billion divided equally (yeah, right...) amongst U.S. taxpayers is exactly $5,000.00

How's THAT for a stimulus package?

these homes have value and it wont be a $700 billion dollar loss, it will be a $200 billion loss in the worst case and a profit of some kind in the best case.

Just to be clear, we will not lose all of the money, the properties will have some value and it will not be total losss.
