A pleasant week and a happy 4th of July. I'm packing up to go to my daughter's house to take care of my 2 year-old grandson while his little brother is being born. If all goes as planned, Dylan will be born by c-section sometime around 9 a.m. tomorrow. Daughter bought 4th of July shirts for the whole family--should be a great picture!

I'll try to read & run on PB during the next week as I have time. Now that Michael is working on fixing the pm problem it will help me stay in touch with y'all. Please keep me up-to-date on the real news because I won't have much time to investigate on my own.

Everybody, PLEASE do all that you can to help stop the next war (with Iran) before it starts. It worries me that Congress is on recess . . .

I will use this time to recharge my batteries and renew my conviction for the fight that lies ahead. The promise of a new life gives me all the more reason to believe that this election is about the future. That is the basic choice that we face in November--do we follow the ways of the past, or do we chart a new course for the future. This grandma will choose the future because it's not about me, it's about those two little boys that I adore.

I miss America. I want it back. So do you--that's why we're all here.
