DEAR OBAMA SUPPORTER

Dear Obama Supporter:
I respect that we live in the United States of America where each individual can choose the candidate they wish to vote for. I respect your decision to vote for Senator Obama. I don't agree with your decision because I believe Senator Clinton is the best candidate. But you are entitled to your opinion.
What I don't understand is why Senator Obama doesn't want my vote to count. You see, Obama Supporter, I live in the state of Michigan. I voted for Senator Clinton. MILLIONS of voters in Michigan and Florida voted for Senator Clinton. Now, Senator Obama doesn't want our votes to count and he won't agree to have them counted. I do understand why. If those votes are counted, Senator Clinton will lead in the delegate count.
Yes, Michigan and Florida were bad, bad, bad. Our vote was scheduled before Iowa. And we are being punished as voters. But the citizens of this country are being punished in a far great way, as is the Democratic party. I don't think anything is more harmful to the Party than to refuse to count the votes of the people of Michigan and Florida. Especially when if those votes were counted, the result would be very different than the current result.
So, Obama Supporter, when you point a finger at Senator Clinton and claim she is dividing the party by refusing to quit this race - just remember that there are MILLIONS of people in Michigan and Florida who are still waiting for their voices to be heard and your candidate refuses to listen.

Why do you lay the blame totally at his doorstep? - both candidates agreed to the rules, and signed off on it. Everyone knew including HRC that this would turn into a mess. Hillary even said - she didn't NEED Michigan.
Now...Michigan and Florida is needed by "HER" - and the rules must be bent to accomodate her.
You should not reelect your state knuckleheads that caused this debacle.
I think you are not receiving a fair deal when as a Clinton supporter you are accused of being negative and devisive.
Where could such claims come from?
NO CLINTON, NO OBAMA
EDWARDS '08 ... the only patriotic choice.
NO CLINTON, NO OBAMA
EDWARDS '08
You know that the decision to not seat the FL and MI delegates was made by the DNC. Prior to the primaries Clinton went along with the ruling as did Obama and all of the candidates.
Obama is no more to blame than Clinton.
Aslinton finds herself behind she is asking to change the rules to give her a chance to win.
When she was ahead she felt it essential all follow nthe rules.
Another reason I am voting for Obama.
Or perhaps he did it to protest the DNCs position. Why don't you ask him or his campaign rather than make assumptions and slander him.
Either way it was a move that could hurt no one except himself.
Hillary would trounce McCain so we're going to send her back to the senate. Gee?
Why is it that we're members of the Democratic party? It certainly isn't because our candidate wins!
I do not agree with your opinion. There are many people, including people I respect, I do not agree with.
But based on your tone and your extreme negativity I do not repect your opinion.
EDWARDS '08 ... the only candidate with ethics and compassion for the working class.
Like Obama, I am the product of inter-racial marriages. Like many millions of Americans, my family arrived on the Mayflower, marriages occured with the natives, immigrants married my Mayflower family, those people are all over the United States.
Like many Americans, I cannot count the cultures of the human race who entered my family. My German-Cherokee-Ilocano(Tribe of the Philippines) Uncle has a half-mexican-black daughter. I have several mexican cousins. I have blonde blue eyes cousins who are cousins from the same great, great, great, great, great grandfather who came with his brother to the swedish colony. We have cousins from the marriage which occured during the Vietnam War. Of those cousins is a marriage with a Peruvian. My entire Typical White Person family is like all Americans, we are related to so many people that race is not an issue. It has been an insult to all of my family who have celebrated in our family reunions to project that Americans are Racial Biggots.
As an descendent of English-Swedes and German-Cherokee-Ilocanos, I have given ten years of my life giving free lectures on the global family, the need to recognize our own roots and our familial relatives from indigenous cultures. I was honored to be invited to give a talk to Government Sponsored National Radio in the Philippines as an American-Cherokee-Ilocano.
In our Ilocano Tribal Oral Traditions, when blood is mixed tribes come together. So, I consider myself American. I wish that your leader would have come to the same conclusion yet he has not ever really accepted his own blood lineage from his mother's mother as Cherokee. That has been the ultimate insult that as a Cherokee Woman he cannot acknowledge her roots to the tribes of this land. Instead, he called her a Typical White Person.
Does Mr. Obama know that Cherokee Half-breeds were forced to leave family and their lands to Walk the Trail of Tears?
Does Mr. Obama know that the Cherokee also had to sit at the back of the bus and drink from the same fountains and the so called Negroes?
Does Mr. Obama know that the anihilation of our oral traditions is the equivalent of the holocaust throughout hundreds of years?
Does Mr. Obama know that Hillary Rodham Clinton is also a blood line of the Native Americans?
Respect means more to those of use who are rooted in our families on this earth. Our elders led our parents through the principles of our ancestors even while our parents participated in the Revolutions of the Sixties, wherein many Americans were initiated into Tribal Cultures and Customs yet now more than ever we need to bridge the Rainbow from the land to the people from sea to sea.
It is of great honor which I not only support President Clinton but I also feel that call from my blood and ancestors to give you notice that there is much more to being a leader than skin color. Skin color is nothing to my indigenous elders. My skin color means nothing. My Indigenous Heart is the Key to all of my life journies. We the People in order to form a more perfect union must now cross the rainbow bridge and accept the soul, the spirit the experience for the being not the gender or the skin color.
Please reconsider your predelections. Please reconsider the potential of a world wherein we are not speaking about skin color. That is my experience in my family. Yes We Can but Will We? I do!
