Couldn't help but add one more congratulatory note to both Democrats and Republicans on this historic day; the swearing in of our 110th Congress.
I reject the typical declaration that the "Democrats have won", as that would imply that for every winner, there must be a loser. Now that my party can cast the deciding votes, their decisions will raise the quality of life for those on both sides of the aisle.
I congratulate all parties, as I remain hopeful that all citizens will benefit from contributions and progress made by the newest members of the House and Senate... not just Democrats. Because we're there, we all have won.
