Many have asked if they could help with Governor's Richardson's presence and speech at the California Democratic Party Convention this coming weekend (I know, it is really early!!). We have a booth that with a large flat screen tv to play the Governor's speeches and the new ads, people attending the various interest caucuses and handing out literature and standing up for the Governor, and are planning a big splash on the convention floor prior to the Governor's speech. Here is where we need your help before Wednesday evening, and you won't even have to leave the comfort of your home. We need to call the 2800 delegates, and ask them if they are supporting the Governor; and if so would they be able to help with the booth, in the caucuses, hold a sign on the floor, etc.

I will provide you with the names and numbers, talking points on the Governor, and a few issues, and a sample "script" to help you. I say "sample" because we want you to convey the Governor's style, which is not canned, but just like he is sitting across from you in your living room. You can make this fun! We have already knocked off 200 names of elected officials and people we don't have phone numbers, and another 600 who have already been called. We only have 2000 names left, and that doesn't take very long, especially if 20 people would step up and volunteer.
