Although I am not a vet, my family and husband all are/were and this is very touching.
I like this much better than the open thread!
My tribute is small buts it's the least I could do. I wish I was well enough to be out there with people like Cindy.

Bush tied himself tightly to the troops in rhetoric only. When you look at the actual support; budget cuts, not providing enough armour for each soldier or vehicle, cut backs on medical when they come home mangled from an illegal war and most criminal of all, not providing the $$$ needed for IED scramblers....you wonder, how can anyone think that this admin supports the troops?
Yet we still have 34% of this country supporting this admin!?! WTF?

Now I can't seem to NOT talk about them ALL it seems. They all tie in together with this disgustingly crooked and fraudulent administration!
So, my point is that I can SORT of see why SOME of that 34 percent still THINKS they are supposed to support any president. They just have NOT bothered to inform themselves. For one reason or another they can't manage the job of KNOWING the truth.
Willing to accept what some other FOOL tells them w/out having any minds of their own. I can sort of understand. I know I sure don't sleep as well as I used to when I was blissfully ignorant!
We just need to shake them up a little...... LOL
