HILLARY, APOLOGIZE ALREADY

Dear Senator Clinton:
Your reluctance to apologize for your vote on the War in Iraq is hurting you. It's not un-presidential to admit a mistake. In fact, it shows a great deal of strength. The country will forgive you; trust them more than you do. I'm afraid your vote will dog you throughout your campaign if you don't come up with a better response than your current talking points.
We know it's George Bush's war. We know he rushed to War after Congress approved the Resolution. We know he cherry-picked the intelligence. We know he planned to invade Iraq even before 9/11. We know he bungled the prosecution of the war in the most incompetent way possible; in fact, it would've been hard to imagine anyone bungling a US enterprise so pathetically.
But saying, "There are no do-overs," just doesn't cut it. I don't want to vote for Barack Obama because I think his experience is too minimal. But if you don't change your position about your vote, I'll be forced to go with him.
Please reconsider your stance on this crucial issue.

You don't have to vote for Obama. There's always John Edwards! :) (I like Obama also but am leaning toward Edwards atm)
Hillary is not going to get my vote unless she wins the primary and leads the ticket.
If we're going to be serious about selecting a candidate, we need to look deeper than just those who are currently media darlings (Clinton, Edwards, Obama) and see what others bring to the discussion. Arbitrarily limiting our selection to an annointed few will only hurt us in the long-term.

p.s. Yes, I fully understand that being a media darling does not preclude a candidate from serious consideration.
