McCain this week voted against a bill that would require equal pay for women (Obama and Clinton voted for it). McCain stated that women didn't need the bill because the reason they weren't receiving equal pay was because they needed better education and training to do so. http://www.wtop.com/?nid=213&sid=1392352

As a woman, can you really say that McCain is better for you than Obama. Or that Obama is evil and McCain is not.

I don't know about you, but I have a B.A. and a J.D. and I know that the men in my field receive more pay for the same job. Women don't receive less pay because they are less educated. The fact that McCain believe that women don't make as much because they do not have enough education and training prove to me that he is out of touch with reality and would be a terrible President.

So, female Clinton supporters, if Obama is the nominee at the end of the process are you really going to stay home and not vote for Obama or actually go out and vote for McCain when he doesn't want you to be able to receive equal pay?

Why in the Hell do women always have to depend on a man to do things for them, why do men always feel that women can't be leaders, why is it men are so arrogant that the must attack Hillary Clinton a qualified woman in favor of an old scenile bastard and a man with no qualifications

I am a woman and I know I get paid less than the men who are equally educated as I am. I am not picking on Clinton at all. I am asking the Clinton supporters, especially the women, if they really think McCain is scarier than Obama. If you care about feminism and equal pay for equally qualified people regardless of gender then how can you vote for McCain or stay home and let him win the election?

Women are advancing, just more slowly than they would if women controlled the government. But there are males in the government who get it and will help us advance. McCain, though, is not one of them.

I'm glad to hear that. So many Clinton supporters say they won't vote for Obama over McCain and I don't see who you can do that when McCain believes things like this.

where does Obama stand on any and all of this?
I haven't been able to determine where his allegiance lies much less to think that he isn't anymore an overbearing man than McCain........
He gave lip service for months on actually nothing and then finally started making speeches that were prepared for him.....The man can't think on a dime and don't think he can think through solutions either.
As Richardson said on Larry King this evening he isn't going to debate if he is attacked....
Poor darling.....And if he becomes the nominee just what does he expect a pass by the repubs???

jb, that's not so........He is the first president since Grant to write his own book(s), and he writes most of his speeches too.....

He has a great mine, and is thoughtful. But when your words are twisted and contorted by a desparate campaign you have to be very careful with what words and phrases you use...

Obama voted for the equal pay bill as did Hillary. McCain's the one who voted for it. That's my point. Obama will be good for women, McCain won't. So how as a woman can you say you will vote for McCain over Obama?
