Any one of those that opposes Senator Obama as the nominee to explain why - without calling upon the posts of someone else - or the comments of one of his supporters or pointing fingers and pushing back with cynical remarks.

There is an unspoken position on this site amongst those that do not support the democratic party's nominee.

Some say - in all honesty that its experience or inconsistency, or too new, too young, among other things.

That's all well and good. But what I am searching for is the logic behind why a person that is a democrat would counter vote republican or abstain from voting in an effort to make a point or teach a lesson?

That's the point and intent of my blog and the basis for my question.

Stop and think about it for a minute and then "come correct" as my children would say.

I want to know - how a concerted effort to "punish" not only the DNC, but the entire party - hell - nation for that matter - is going to benefit any one of us.

ok fair - but that explains the "what" of it all - my question is "why"?

what is so critical to making a point that is supersedes the benefit of the country right now?

are we to just accept defeat and dig in for another 4 years of a republican administration and just struggle to keep our heads above water so that we can assume we've made our position clear?

let's push the country into a rat hole and leave it there for now - hell - stockpile and save up until 2012 and pray that hrc or someone else better is still up for running.

hrc is probably tired of all of this nonsense and negativity. hopefully - she WON'T retire if mccain wins and throw her hands in the air too.

is that why?

ok - i will overlook the name calling in your response and the personal information you ask regarding my family and answer you with a question - how has the party adopted: greed, racism, stupidity and laziness by standing by the presumptive nominee?

what about Senator Obama demonstrates those flaws and what in our party demonstrates those flaws?

Do you know how many people, good Democrats that have always supported Democrats are vowing to oust Hillary from her senate seat, because of what her supporters are doing to Obama? If these Hillary 'supporters' succeed and put McCain in office in a close elction, Hillary will be working at Micket D's. Her policial careeer over. Thanks to her 'supporters'.

This saga is two sided.
