I want to encourage everyone that is canvassing for Senator Obama and the others running on the democratic ticket in your local precincts - to be respectful and mindful of the animosity brewing.

 Not that I am an alarmist - but we do have some folks out there that can not engage in a civil dicussion without becoming visceral. In that case, my suggestion is to politely back down and move on. Listen, I have heard everything from "Obama will give everything to the blacks" to "Obama is too new"...a wide range of fearful talk.

 YOU can't speak to fear. HOPE speaks to fear. HOPE CAN DEFEAT FEAR. HOPE CAN DEFEAT HATE.

 An undecided voter will make themselves known to you and you will know what to say.

There are some that are beyond the reach of reason - to those - you bid them a good afternoon.

 As you canvass - focus on our continued effort to GOTV and share our reasons for supporting Senator Obama. It's not easy, but it is worth it.

We to continue to progress and push forward.

 I have always believed that Senator Obama is a realist, yet tempered in reality.

 Remember we all have mutual issues - mutal concerns and very fundamental basic concerns this election that affect everyone - from all walks of life. Focus on that.

I speak blessings and protection on all that canvass this weekend and HOPE and BELIEVE that the change that is in front of us is for the benefit of us all.

 Senator Obama, in my opinion, will not let us down.
