You know, I was thinking. When we throw or attend a Birthday Party for someone, we don’t say “Happy Birthday…even though you owe me 50 bucks” or, “Happy Birthday , even though you still haven’t returned that dress you borrowed from me”. No, we just sing Happy Birthday , stuff our faces with cake and ice cream , and pour gifts upon the lucky recipient right? So, in that spirit, I want to wish America a Happy Birthday.

Party Builder member Shopman, posed a question. What’s right with America? And I had to think about it because there are so many ways to answer that question. I would say that the main thing that’s right with America is the fact, that it’s America in and of itself. What I mean by that is, America is Democratic Republic that was formed with the sole purpose of creating a society of free people.

Our Constitution is what’s right with America. The Founders got it right and no matter how long it took us as a nation to realize that, the fact remains, the US Constitution was the best that ever happened to this country. Another thing that’s right with America is our Military. We have the strongest Military in the world and no matter how many mistakes we make; we will always have the most superior Military Force on the planet.

Do you want to know what my most favorite part of Inauguration Day is? It might seem corny to some, but it really is my favorite part. It’s when the President of the United States and other dignitaries are standing in that bullet proof glass area and there’s a parade going on where they present the Military. OMG. I get all proud when I see our men and women in uniform.

I love the sight of them standing there in their ceremonial guard, all branches, and when they are marching in lock step with authority and pride. They are all in tip top shape and  you know they don’t even need a weapon to kick azz because they got it like that. Contrast that to the others around the world and it’s clear, there is no competition.

I mean seriously, you see these other guys marching along with their high kicks and angry faces and then when you zoom in for a closer look; all the men look thin and malnourished. Their uniforms are practically falling off their boney figures. That’s what they have to represent their nation’s mite? They are but weak men. No wonder they want nukes.

So, yes, our Military might is what’s right with America. Another thing that’s right with America and opinions may vary on this, but I think, diversity is what’s right with America. We are like no other nation in that respect. We have all races, ethnicities and religions pledging allegiance to the starts and stripes, aiming and striving towards a more perfect union. That’s what is right about America.
