It goes to prove what a backstabber John Edwards truly is. No offense to my mother. She was for him all the way. But she did tell me that she will vote McCain last night because she sees that the GOP has plotted to get Obama into the Plantation so that he can keep making backroom deals with them.

Michelle no longer from Ohio: says
Nope! He's a noob.

I wrote and told him so too. The Edwards camp wrote me back and asked if I wanted to make an appointment to speak with John or Elizabeth! LOL. I was furious that he had the audacity to ask me for a donation for the NCarolina's upcoming senior class so they could go to college, especially when we're sitting in Juneau with an electrical crisis that made national news (and Governor here sits on her ass recovering from having a baby) and we've depleted my 11th graders college funds to pay the electric bills because the electric company is on a back up generator - the diesel fuel is killing all the consumers here. Watch foreclosures! We've made national news again for cutting back 30% on electricity...so guess what! We're the new models & you will all HAVE to follow suit or pay high prices for electric! I told Johnnie to take the money I donated him for his election (to in good faith remain in the election to the end) and use that. Then I asked if he was going to campaign for student of Alaska, so THEY could get an education too?
Yeah, he be a big phat noob. His wife still rocks, she's for Hillary.
And FOS was WRONG! Edwards will not be his VP running mate, he only gave him 4 friggon delegates...the primary isn't over yet, until it's over. LOL

Right on John! Now if only he would be willing to go for the VP spot again...

It's like a stab in the back to me!
By Retired Army May 14th 2008 at 6:16 pm EDT
I voted for Edwards and had hoped he would stay neutral until the end and I have stated that previously on this blog.

I have now lost all respect for him. I now adamently restate my position that I will not follow his endorsement and will not, ever, vote for Obama. I don't give a crap what other will say about this and I will stand my ground.

I already have seen the fear campaign that the Obama people are using in pushing the war issue. Well I believe that is just as low as you can get to try and push a candidate of YOUR choice. I coud reverse that and say the same to Obama people that say they will vote for McCain as well, but I don't!

This really hurts but I hope that people that have made up their minds stay on course and vote how they wish, without the influence of radicals within our own party, I think!

Why didn't Edwards endorse Obama before his primary in N.C.? Something smells real bad here. Some real plotting is going on to make Obama the nominee no matter how the voters feel about it. The DNC just doesn't get it. One would call it buyers remorse, and WV said it loud and clear. Infact, so did the Pa. voters. I am from Pa. and will always be deeply offended by what Obama said behind closed doors in Ca., and never expected us to hear. Worse then saying we cling to our guns and religion out of economic woes, he inferred we are all a bunch of bigots who don't accept any one not like ourselves( anti-trade, anti-immigration, etc.) He spoke volumes to us about how he really feels about the middle class. Guess what ? we will never vote for him, and do not want him for our President. Try as they might to make his bitter comments go away, it won't happen for the majority of us.

Yes, about as cute as two sharks circling for the kill.

Maybe you people weren't listening, but the majority of Americans don't want Barack Obama--and this is the Obama they know, not the real Obama.

West Virginia spoke loudly, and clearly, and Hillary Clinton is the choice of America! Seniors, working class, students--resoundingly pick Mrs. Clinton.

Edwards is a long time loser, and a hypocrite. He embarasses himself and his wife with this move, but I have no pity for him. This was strategic, but it shows more desperation than diplomacy.

After P.Rico, Hillary will have MORE popular votes and more electoral college votes. She will have won EVERY SINGLE SWING STATE, and she comes with no unknown baggage. My god people, he can't even debate her...much less beat her.

Finally, to all of you who think that we will lock step behind you in this march of doom, we will NOT. I speak for 11 people in my immediate family--attorneys, doctors, artists, college graduates, and high school drop outs--who will take our hearts, our souls, our minds, our money, and our votes and VOTE MCCAIN should Hillary not be the Presidential candidate of choice for the Democratic party. We will then forever become Independent. Remember people, just because you call him a democrat does not make him one AND if he is one than we -- and most of America -- are not one.

WAKE UP PEOPLE....Hillary Clinton for President!!

I sure as hell am not Voting for Obama, especially when that idiot Dean and the media have been forcing him down our throats and calling us all racists if we don't support him. Screw all you reverse racist Obama supporters. You're all a bunch of idealist dreamers and you don't have a clue what Obama would do in his first hundred days, because even he doesn't know! You political "children" need to grow up and do it fast or McCain will beat Obama like a rented mule on National security. And to very honest I don't want to elect a President who is going to go make nice with that little monkeyman who runs Iran. Re: Past loser backs future loser
By Tonya May 15th 2008 at 9:59 am EDT
Alex,

If you could have a little balance and put your disappointment aside, you could appreciate that Edwards could only pick Obama. Rationally, if Edwards was against the status quo and picked Hillary with her taunting of her 30 years of entrenchment, he then could be called disingenuous. He was always a change candidate, too. Hillary can't almost present herself as an incumbent and represent CHANGE! Whether you like it or not, you are wrong to accuse him of being inconsistent.
Re: Past loser backs future loser
By jenniforhillary May 16th 2008 at 12:21 pm EDT
And may they both go to hell intertwined. Edwards back Obama for two reasons: money and VP.

They are about change...change in their pockets.
