Does Color of Skin REALLY Matter?

For some reason I can't get a straight response from any Obama followers on this question:
Does color of skin reall matter when choosing a candidate to be the next president? If not, why is it that the overwhelming majority of blacks in this country are choosing the black candidate? We have been told that color should not matter by yet when it comes to the black community, they don't have to play by the same rules.

African Americans are the most reliable voting bloc in the democratic Party. In two elections they voted overwhelmingly for Clinton. They were supporting Hillary until they decided Obama could, in fact, win the presidency, when they switched to him.
What part of "they voted overwhelmingly for Clinton in two elections" do you not understand? What part of "they are reliably Democratic" do you not understand?
They would not have voted for Obama if they didn't believe he had a very real chance to become the first African American president. If I was African American I would be very proud of his candidacy. I would vote for him above Clinton despite the fact that I had voted for Clinton before. Does that bother you?
I grew up with African Americans and include several among my friends. One of them is very reliable republican who has switched his party to democratic. why? Because he is proud as punch of having Obama to vote for. This is hardly "racist".
I don't accuse you of racism for supporting Clinton, so don't accuse anyone else of racism for supporting Obama.
Do you think all the white people (and other groups) who vote for Obama vote for him because he's got black skin?
You're an idiot, but I don't really expect anything else from a Rush Limbaugh loving Republican.
