Gender Discrimination is indeed a big problem - globally, not just here in the US.
In many ways, gender discrimination is more over-arching globally than ethnic discrimination.
I hope we can make this part of our Democratic platform as we move forward.
In the end, I believe it is accurate to say both candidates have (and are) facing various kinds of discrimination - though I won't go so far as to say who got it "more"... as an Obama supporter I am willing to consider the possibility that Clinton was on the short end of the stick here.
But I won't go there, because I really do believe that Clinton doesn't want her candidacy to be defined in terms of her gender, and Obama doesn't want his candidacy defined in terms of his ethnicity.
I would like to honor both candidates by seeing them through the lens of their character and the leaders they are.
