I took the challenge of my parents at the age of 14 to assist our neighbors in organizing a block meeting to address concerns and to initiate the first block watch program in West Denver.That was in October of 1968 when Sarah Palin was four years old.

What we began in West Denver was the foundation of the Neighborhood Congress.In the nearly 40 years of our service,not one member was paid or given a salary.All of us are volunteers.

Mrs Palin this is the cornerstone of community organizing.We have demonstrated a commitment to community first.How dare you trivialize the mission that Senator Obama took for the poor in Chicago?

I call on all community organizers in battle-ground states to register persons to vote and to hold community conferences that will show in no uncertain terms how the McCain/Palin ticket is nothing more than a third tern for G W and an anathema to our national security.
