Based on protests against the Iraq war, on October 26, 2002 (over 100,000 protestors in Washington and 50,000 in San Francisco) at least 150,000 Americans had enough sense to know that invading Iraq was not a wise thing to do (among them one of the three presidential candidates) and based on the fact that 154 congress people had enough sense to vote against the war (Unfortunately, the 154 did not include either of the remaining two presidential candidates).
Don’t we want to elect a president who has demonstrated that he is at least as smart as the American people when it comes to making a judgment call regarding the invasion of another nation, or will we choose the candidate who has recently promised to obliterate Iran, or perhaps the one who has promised to stay there for 100 years?
