Bush's Game Plan for the Convention
Bad? Brilliant?

I heard on the news tonight that if Hurricane Gustav looks like a lollipalooza for certain that George will stay home and send Laura in his place. And the reason?  The Republicans don't want flashes on mainstream media from George back to the hurricane and then back to George.

But you know what?  It doesn't matter.  There will be screen shots of the hurricane Gustav juxtaposed against screenshots of the Republican convention. And the American people will be reminded of Katrina and what the Republicans did not do. And I will remember that religious conservatives were the ones who had people praying that it would rain in Colorado on Thursday night. Hypocrites.

I say protect the people in the path of Gustav and it serves the Republicans right--minor inconvenience for all the damage they have done to this nation over the past 8 years with the assistance of religious fundamentalists.  I hope that America remembers and remembers and remembers all the way into the voting booths on November.  I know I will.  I'm going to do all I can to prevent four more years of their lies, deceptions and pious self-righteous arrogant entitlement.

and one more quirky thing

Monday, the first day of the Republican Convention, the ones who love to scream about the radical islamists, also happens to be the first day of a very holy Muslim time called Ramadan.

Isn't that just a stitch?

McCain is born on the same day that Katrina hit.
As Ramadan begins, so begins the Republican Convention. If there is a God, he/she surely must appreciate irony.

Ramadan and Hurricanes.

I do not wish a hurricane on anyone. The devasation they bring are terrible. Hope none die this week from the hurricanes as the financial toll will be bad enough. They affect us all.
