I have heard "Hillary Clinton called an old relic dragging the party through the mud"
Witnessed free speech addressed as treason.
Listend as traditional democratic values are mocked by people who declare such ancient ideas as the sanctity of the vote invalid because our founding fathers were all racist scoundrels.
One writter refered to the Clinton campaign as "a Lesbian witch cult".
Try asking a critical question abotu Senator Obama and see if you get an answer or an attack.
The movement isn"t winning any new converts with these tactics.

There are "W"efties amongst us!

I am in my mid 30's and have a pretty clear picture of what's going on. The similarities here are so similar to what I hear from closeminded GOP people everyday of my life.

I have no affiliation to either candicacy per se. I did make a $500 contribution to Hillary here a month back. My first ever financial contribution to anything political.

I just started voting in 2000. Gore/Kerry/Clinton
My vote matters very little here in Indiana though.

Tired and incoherent now...lol

They act like neo cons

repeating their right wing talking points. No super delegate would ever bve as profame or obscene as the Obama campaign has been. I hope after this the progressives go away. Real liberalals dont need them any more.

LOL, the more I see more I dislike...

I'd have duel citizenship in Norway, and live there until the next election, I have friends that have applied to citizenship in Canada, none of my friends what to be here if a repo wins. Most of my friends are certain only Clinton can beat them, am not sure of that, but am sure am not smitten with him or his supporters. Generally speaking, only a few have shown kindness towards me.

Few are will to discuss tough issues without flying off the handle. It is very discouraging and sad to see our party has changed so much, we have had our party problems historically, but this seems different. What seems to going on is so much more destructive to the party, vicious, senseless, it is really discouraging, if I were an independent, am not sure I would want to include myself in the bunch I been watching lately. Who a candidate attracts speaks volumes. I don't know how we can get the indies and ship jumpers, but behaving like adults might be a good start.

As hard as I have tried during the past, there is really nothing one can do to open the eyes of those that have opposing views. I am surrounded by the same close-mindedness in real life and their is no escape here.

I just find it discouraging that the Presidency becomes a popularity contest again and again. Our educational system needs a severe overhaul with a heavy load of critical and independant thinking.

Everyone blames the schools. I thionk the reason the schools are as bad as they are is because the republicans trying to mess with them, which they wouldnt have been able to do if they hadn't gotten people to blame the schools in the first place. They want the teachers to teach to the test and they say it would improve test scores. But what they seem to ignore is that American students with low test scores go on to compete in the best university system in the world. So I say once we get the republicans out of the three branches of government we need to purge them from any other occupations that allows them to tear down our government institutions including the schools.

Yes. But the reason they took me is i had over a year of junior college. So it wasnt quite as romantic as it sounded. And i was only reserves. But it still seemed pretty cool to me at the time.

Sounds very cool.
My son was in the "forget what you call it" Navy for boys in High School, something like "seal" something and he would have to go to the naval base on weekends. Was a great experience for him.

We have a merchant marine program here in Glendale, Ca. This DA I used to work with had a mohawked haired son that went through the program; has his own ship/barge now and sails the seas.

It was easy in the army. But I had already taken some english classes and math classes at the local junior college. They had a series of pre tests, one for each subject and then the actual ged itself which was just slightly easier than the pre tests.

Always told my kids that the High School Degree was the most difficult of all. It took 12 years of schooling, involved so many subjects, had no applicable direction, was mandatory, but, could get you the best damn civil service job there is, if you can test well at h.s. level.

Love the choice of words. You can't "open our eyes", because we are "closed minded". And of course, the Obama supports are not making rational choices, but instead are caught up in a "popularity contest".

Can you see that others might intrepret your remarks as denoting a lack of respect and perhaps a bit of arrogance.

I don't know if you want to promote more education, since on that metric, Obama is kicking butt. Those are the whites he is winning handily. It's the less educated whites that wont vote for him. Hmmmmmmm......

A degree doesn't determine an individuals awareness.

In addition you are supplying exit poll data. That is not scientific.

A question you should ask is what would the the race look like if she was getting equal share of the black vote. Kerry had 88% of the black vote in 04, now all the sudden more than that think he is more qualified?

If it were Richardson or Edwards instead of Obama what percentages of the Black vote do you believe Hillary would get?

Have been called undereducated, uneducated and outclassed in the last 2 days by Obama Supporters. Now that those people aren't looking; I am a ABA Certified Paralegal, have a degree in Criminology with 17 years in a courtroom and I am a nurse. Gee, if there is one thing that comes with education, it's humility. I'm sure on the exit polls alot of H supporters find it arrogant to give their educational status. It's just plain ole rude. I value people as people, that's it.

Getting so tired of it.
What do you say we re-register as Indies and reclaim the Indy party? We'll call it the "What's Left" party.
