Obama, starring in "Trading Places"

Let's play a game.
Suppose Obama was conveniently on Mars when the Fisa Bill was passed.(Even McCain was disposed of at the time). Now, let's suppose he was smart enough to cast a vote to voteo bush's attempt to cut Medicare funding.Appease the "baby- boomers".
Now, here is the confusion in political motives. If the conservatives love FISA & have utter hatred for Medicare( Would love to abolish), where the hell does that leave Obama. First, he sucked every lefties and progressives asses, now it appears to me (I'm not physical blind)to be swinging far right!
MR.OBAMA! YOU CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS!
This is becoming evident in the drying up of his donation network and the rumbling of the "left". Good Politics?????
Give us back HILLARY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let's trade places!!

First of all Obama's vote for FISA was not as you write "sucking up to the lefties"--that was a vote for the right wing as it protects George Bush's ass and ensures that he will not be tried for the felony that he committed when he asked Telecoms to break the law by spying on Americans without a warrant. That was vote to the right, not the left.
As for the vote for Medicare, you seem to be under the notion that Obama voted to overturn Bush's veto of the medicare bill. If so you are incorrect. Obama was not present for that vote.
So actually by virtue of your two examples: FISA and the override of Bush's Medicare veto, Obama was not "trying to have it both ways" as both of these votes reflect a right wing viewpoint.
