Why I am Finally a Democrat!
Bad? Brilliant?

I've been a voter my entire adult life. But I have never been a registered Democrat until a few months ago. After nearly a decade of unfathomable damage to the spirit of this country, I know this country needs a leader with a better vision of the future.

I myself could use a little hope right now. When I imagine what could have been done with the money and lives we've lost in the War in Iraq, I see hope alive. Because with new leadership, we can do that next year! I think both Clinton and Obama would make excellent choices as president or as Vice President.

So just to get people talking, is there any reason why Senators Clinton and Obama shouldn't agree to be each others running mate, no matter who wins the nomination?

With so many new voters in the party really excited aboutone or the other, or both, doesn't it seem like runnin mates should be arranged before this nomination pans out?

(The loser would maintain much more momentum if it goes down before the nomination and therefore would have more power to bring to the Vice Presidency!)

Obama's message of change & hope does not blend with Hillary so bad idea.....Obama should have his team & not baggage of Clintons...

I have a bit of the same feeling. I myself am voting for Obama. However, Clinton has backbone and would make one hell of a watchdog at the Vice President position. And I think Obama's true enough to his cause not to be unduly influenced by her. He's not a puppet.

And if Clinton receives the nomination, it would be good to know that she has her own little antithesis of Cheney always in her ear. Obama's calm certainty of the future couldn't be bad for her.

I guess I'm saying that I don't necessarily want the President and Vice President to agree on things. I'd rather have the Vice President giving constructive criticism than taking orders.

The current democratic female governor of Arizona might be a good choice.
In my opinion
