And that goes for me, my husband, family and friends and others.....
Either a write in for Hillary (which you can do in Tx) or a vote for McCain or a vote for Hillary if she is on the Indie ticket....
Life long Dems but so disgusted with this primary and the DNC and the Media bias......
Obama can do no wrong while Hillary has been bashed without mercy....
That and the news outlets are seeing their ratings drop...
Someone has to be buying this out....
Or some people.....
So the American dream is sold to the highest bidder....
The Dem year to get the WH back plus many Dems across this nation plus naming to the Supreme Court....
Very important and very serious election with this country in sahmbles.....

We do believe in Democratic principles and his actions speak louder than words. I will not vote for Obama as well as half the Democratic Base!

What's the difference?
By Beat McCain 08 May 9th 2008 at 7:21 pm EDT
The irony in all of the Hillary supporters rants is both Obama and Hillary have voted the SAME on issues....hello!

The only difference between them is she is a white woman, he is a white AND black man...

you do the math.

At first I didn't think it would matter if HIllary didn't make it until all the friends and acqaintances of Obamas starting coming out of the woodwork.....
HIs contacts are disgusting and definately not something that should ever be associated with a CIC...
Obama the puppet whle those with all the money calling the shots....

Hillary-bashing media??
By Pale Rider May 9th 2008 at 7:25 pm EDT
The only thing Hillary has caught any flack about is her divisive attitude at the beginning of this campaign AND her lie about landing in Bosnia under fire. Compare THAT to the trashing Obama has taken for the past two months and you have NOTHING to compare on Hillary's part.
Re: Hillary-bashing media??
By Lady Democrat May 9th 2008 at 7:31 pm EDT
That's so true...Obama takes it on the chin and moves on while Hillary whines about being checked for her behavior...she is constantly twisting the knife when Obama is attacked but he rarely if ever does the same...

Think it through
By Lady Democrat May 9th 2008 at 7:30 pm EDT
I guess then your vote is one that the Democrats will have to lose...and it means the Dems never really could count on you....we have to remember that voting for the President is voting for A PARTY, A CABINET, POTENTIAL SUPREME COURT JUSTICES....if you support Hillary Clinton and her ideas you should vote for Obama even if he isn't your favorite so that she can work successfully in the Senate to push her ideas...otherwise it will be four more years of roadblocks put up by the Republicans...a lot can happen in four years....in four years our sons could be drafted to continue the war in Iraq or a new war with Iran...its not just about Hillary's future or Obama's future...its about your family's future....we have to calm down and think it through...a vote made in anger or protest won't help the Democrats or the country...

I feel the exact same way you do but about Hillary....but, after encouragement and consideration I will swallow my pride and vote for her if she is the nominee because even if she's in for four years it can't be worse than McCain....

Losing big in Novermber

Alot of people agree with you, I'm one of them. I was looking forward to this year, because I knew this was going to be a big year for Democrats. Then out of no where comes this young inexperienced person. Okay, bad enuff, he goes on a tour around this country, using all the speaking tricks he learned form his anti-American minister. And people who ought to know better are swooning all over the place. The media just love him, because he will take the party down this year of years. If this party is this stupid, then they deserve to lose. The DNC and Howard Dean will have to answer for their actions (or lack thereof) when it's all over.

I don't know of any Democrat I know who's voting...

for Obama. I in good conscious cannot vote for Obama. Even if it means breaking a 150 year old family tradition of voting Democratic. I truly hate being put in this position.

You must have forgotten about the 16.8 million voters that have cast a vote for him already. You must not have friends that like Democratic principles because like him or not--he stands for the same values that Hillary does.

On a personal level--I cant stand Hillary--but if she is to be the nominee--then I will campaign for her.

Oh--Im a democrat BTW.

Write-ins
By PA 5th Voter May 9th 2008 at 7:32 pm EDT
Please feel free to write in Hillary, or whomever you choose, it's your right. That's what write- ins are for.

Please don't sell out your values and vote for John McCain in spite, especially if you feel our country is in shambles. We cannot afford 4 more years. America as we know it may not survive.

you are aware that a write is vote is the same as throwing your vote away, you are making yourself feel happy and not helping the country. Being an adult means making tough choices, even ones we do not like.

By jb1985 May 9th 2008 at 10:30 pm EDT
nice indeed and understood the real genuine agony I have gone through coming to this conclusion..
It was not because of Obama at first but it became because of his lack of judgement and the many many friends and acquaintances that either hate America and any people unlike the black or those that have been found guilty of crimes such as money laundering and some of them are billionaires..
So Obama the not politician is just that....But to me the most dangerous kind..they all lie to varying degrees but he appears more like a pupppet on a string and those he has used to get ahead politically are pulling those strings...
We cannot have a CIC that is just a figure head for those that commit crimes or preach hate....
Some of the comments really hurt because I have loved this party for many many years but more than that I really love my country.....

Why Have I Come to HATE Obama?
By Democrat in Houston, TX May 11th 2008 at 2:02 am EDT
The left wing of the Democratic Party seems to want to destroy Hillary for several reasons.

1. They do not consider the Clinton's liberal enough. Never mind the fact that only Southern white male Dems have been successful in the last 40 years as Presidential candidates.

2. They are/were jealous and/or scared of the Clinton's power and popularity within The Party.

3. A lot of these so-called liberals, secretly don't like women!

4. Women are their own worst enemies. Several Dem Super Delegates picture themselves as the first female POTUS. Hillary must be stopped, if they are to succeed later.

So we are being forced to accept the Obamessiah. A man who can't explain just what "CHANGE" will mean. A man who tells us his judgement is more important than experience, and then fails to show good judgement(Rezko, Wright, Ayres, etc.).

Obama also has a poor track record for actually getting anything done. He refers to legislation he worked on to make nuclear plants report leaks as a major accomplishment. Problem is, he let the bill get watered down until it was toothless, and then it didn't pass anyway.

He seems to be a man who crave the limelight and avoids the heavy lifting. After being elected to the Ill. State Senate, he almost immediately ran for Congress. Failing that, he ran for the U.S. Senate. Getting to the U.S. Senate, he got frustrated with the reality of being a freshman Senator, and started looking for a new office. He was planning to run for Gov. of Illinois, until the left-wing of the DNC conviced him to go for President. When he gets bored with being POTUS, then what?

Obama is a life-long, politician that claims he is not a politician. His campaign attacked the Clinton's for being racists, when his campaign (Jesse Jackson, Jr.) was the first to play the race card in New Hampshire. Republicans who helped him in his earlier primary and caucus wins were converts, but any Republican who votes for Hillary is trying to game the system.

If I wanted some under-qualified, egotistical, smug bastard as President, I would have voted for George W. in 2004.

The reality is, that despite his lead in elected delegates, Obama is not the choice over over 50% of registered Democrats. His lead comes form gaming the caucus system, and from Republican support. The GOP wanted to kill off Hillary, almost as badly as MoveOn.org.

So now we are going to have to choose between," and terd sandwich and a giant douche", to quote South Park.

I will vote straight ticket Democrat again in 2008, but NOT for OBAMA!!!

I'm afraid Ted Kennedy, Howard Dean, and the whole Hee Haw Gang, have given us another George McGovern. I thought that what the Super Delegates system was supposed to prevent. How do we win in November without Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, etc.?

Forgive me for posting like this but I am running out of time and do not have the time to blog on every site right now.

This is a petition to stop Joe Andrew from his comments that will have supers jumping to Obama. Everyone in upcoming primaries should be able to vote, regadless of who wins. If you agree with it, please sign and distribute to everyone. I would like to send it before Tuesday's WV election.
