Boy, did I get blasted for this. At this point, I agree with someone else on here that said all 3 are not worthy to be the POTUS...but, if i have to choose the lesser of the 3 evils, it is Clinton.
The mentality and attention span for the majority of Americans is a joke.
Read below for a copy of me being attacked.
BTW, as I stated below, if Clinton is so much like Obama, then why do we want to pick the copycat nominee instead of the original?....nobody has answered that yet.

Re: Thanks Reply

That's what I am trying to get from people. I posted something earlier this morning....i think the next page now.
So far, from what I am understanding is that the O people say there is no real diference and just claim to like him and trust him. The H supporters have solid reasons including the fact that she can handle the position better. Not only that, the O supports seem to have forgotten that Clinton spearheaded most of the policies and political viewpoints that Obama claims.
So, it leads me to one conclusion: Obama is young, attractive, appeals to young people that take in his empty, yet well delivered speaches, like a sponge. And well, dare I say, this is something that all black people have been dreaming of,,,so of course the majority will support him.
But this is also something that many women supporters have been dreaming of too. However, the difference is that she has proven herself and is not using someone elses viewpoints to make her case. I rememeber a couple years ago everybody was just praying and encouraging her to run for POTUS. But now, look what happened. It is very sad. Fads are cool and all that sometimes, but eventually they fade out...ie. clothes, you will always be able to wear your classic and proven attire, but the fad clothes goes out of style and is thrown aside. To me, Obama is like a fad.
One more point, is Obama is so mush like Clinton, then why support the copycat instead of the original???

It is clear from your comment that you missed the point of Ms. Angelou's wisdom. Your comment is condescending and unworthy of being connected to Ms. Angelou's heart-felt words.
People who have read your comment will forget your uninformed words, but I for one will remember how you made me feel...very glad to be supporting Barack Obama, and looking forward to the final curtain on the Clintons' political ambitions. Thanks for making my feelings crystal clear to me.

JEA-- This is a beautiful quote-- Why don't you just post what you just wrote instead of disrupting this great post????
I just can't understand for a second where you felt compelled to write what you did in response to this quote?????
It is Sunday, Memorial day weekend. Why can't we just have peace for at least a moment???

"It's obvious that McCain is going to win. The Democratic party if fratured beyond belief. I for one, will vote for McCain before I would ever vote for Obama."
This is a direct quote from JEA's profile...This person most likely doesn't even know who Maya Angelou is. The profile is also full of racist drivel. A true whack job.

"it may sound 'racist', I definately believe he would never have been considered if he were not black."
This not only "may sound 'racist'" but it is the epitome of racist.
This is another direct quote from JEA's profile.

oh, so then i guess geraldine ferraro is racist too...get real, if he was a white man with the same exact rhetoric and qualifications, he would not be where he is now. FYI,,,what is going on is called 'reverse racism' it's not nice when somebody calls u that, huh?
BTW, if you think that all that geologists do is work with rocks, you are a completely, uninformed idiot.
If it wasn't for people like me, you wouldn't have clean drinking water, safe, roads, buildings, OIL, anything that you have in your house stupid ass

ok, then direct that at the first 3 respondents...i can interact with anybody i feel so fit to.
AND for the THIRD time, I was not addressing the post...it is obvious if you can follow a thread and are able to put things in order that make sense and associate the context of conversations.
Maybe that is what the problem has been all along, Obama supporters can't piece context together and put things in order...

I have always loved Ms. Angelou's writing.

so now you can speak for other people and read their minds?
at least i provide necessary services and projects for the well being of the public and the environment.
take a hike, that is if you can or know how to
I am a grandmother of three, have been politically active since the 60's, and I have written three novels and am working on my fourth. I went to Arizona State University and have degrees in English and psychology. I know exactly what geologists do, but you seem to have trouble not thinking with the "rocks" in your own narrow little mind. Thanks for asking about me.
It seems the only thing you got from your psychology degree is learning how to twist peoples words around and mentally bullying them....and as far as english...give me a break..actually both degrees are a piece of cake.
Anybody can own their own business,,,depends on how successful you are. I was a freelance artist for 12 years until my husband died. So spare me.
I know I will have accomplished much more than you by the time I am your age...actually, I already have. Now I see from your 'resume' where you get the solid bureaucratic BS.
take off you old, bitter hag.
and thanks again to people like you for destoying any chance for the democratic/centrist majority winning the GE.....
i will remember you for sure and after all is said and done....i will be sure i tell u i told you so
She has lost already; but, not giving a damn about anyone else, she will continue to campaign---perhaps into November.
You pushed to get something going on a post of a beautiful poem in honor of Memorial Day Holiday and you couldn't drop it so, you got what you pushed for. You should be ashamed and delete this post.
Link
Second of all, you are ALWAYS insulting me, antagonizing me and argueing with me...
i don't take anything you say as coming from someone that is levelheaded...
This is a POLITICAL site, not philisophical quoting site...nice quote yeah,,,, i didn't say anything about that.
If you want to hold up a white flag for Memorial Day...then stay off the site tomorrow or ignore those of us that still would like to express our opinion.
