Local MoveOn.org/Operation Democracy group-RIGHT HERE IN ELKHART/SOUTH BEND!! New council starting up, locally, of Operation Democracy, which is MoveOn's 'arm on the ground', taking MoveOn's campaigns beyond email.________________ Operation Democracy events are co-ordinated nationwide with a network of other local councils to provide a grass roots push to provide impact and information to the public.________________________________________ Meetings are typically held in local homes, are fun, and typically last 30 to 60 minutes, a great way to connect with like-minded locals and become part of providing a voice for so many issues that need to be heard, to help effect the changes so badly needed in our country. Feel free to bring your friends with you!! There IS something you can do to help a wave of awareness and change to occur!!______________________________________________ Operation Democracy Events are once a month, and also usually only last 30-60 minutes, so a great time committment is NOT required!!!!!! One may participate in the Event without attending the mtg, if that is easier for you. We always welcome all support!!!!!!!______________________________________________________ The May 08 event, being planned now, is kinda cute, is a knock off of the Pepsi-Coke 'challenge', is a 'Bush-McCain challenge'... Even i got a few wrong!
