Dear Friends,
I am excited about this campaign for this Senate seat and the other campaigns that are taking place across the state of New Mexico. There is much work to be done and I need your help to make this an effective Senate Seat for the people of Colfax, Northern Curry, Harding, Quay, Western San Miguel, Northern Taos and Union counties and also the rest of New Mexico. Yes, this is the largest state Senate district in area in New Mexico. Clint Hardin narrowly won his seat by approximately 30 votes last time and that was on the coat tales of President Bush�s reelection.
Many of you have already seen me working hard on the campaign trail and I hope that shows you that I will work just as hard for you because this election is not about me it is about us, the people of District 7 and New Mexico. I will put the interests of the people of this state first, just like I put my family, my students and my honor in serving this country in uniform before my own benefit.
I am asking for a contribution of $5 and for you to get 5 people to vote for me. If a third of the registered voters contributed $5 It would be all I would need to win this campaign and of course there would be no special interest group asking me to vote there way. And, getting five people to the polls to vote for me would also guarantee a win in this election. If you don�t live in my district do you know people who do?
