So admittedly I was down hearted the day I learned John Edwards had dropped out of the race. But then I began to think "What about an Obama/ Edwards ticket?" Frankly I don't think the democrats could do any better than that. Obama I think is clearly the front runner, and rightfully so. Having Edwards as a VP candidate may help to alleviate concerns of voters who want to vote Democratic but are concerned about voting for a candidate who is so ethnicaly different from any president we've had before.
