This country is crying for a change from the policies of George W. Bush and his group of cronies. From the actions of John Ashcroft to Alberto Gonzalez, this administration has been built on lies, deception, corruption, and scandal.
Their inattention to the citizens of this country, unless they make more than $300,000 a year and contribute heavily to the GOP, has eroded the standard of living of the so-called middle class. This group has had to suffer with crippling medical bills (my first wife died of cancer, and the bill, after insurance, was $120,000. She died in 1989 and I am still paying), increasing energy costs, the loss of full-time employment and benefits due to outsourcing, and the inablility to pursue the American dream of home ownership.

It is time for a change. Whether through impeachment hearings or Congressional action, the misdeeds of this renegade administration must be revealed to the American public. At a time when the majority of the voting public casts votes for American Idol fools instead of voting for governmental representatives, it is our duty to wake this vital part of our citizenry to everything that is going on around them.

The Democratic party must stop the in-fighting and unite against the Karl Roves of the GOP. If we are to succeed against the Republican party and their misguided policies, then we must present a united, strong party. The 2008 elections will again consist of lies and deception by the GOP. They will use personal attacks against Democratic candidates in order to detract from the scandals of this administration. We must be ready to fight.
