The delegate numbers, Obama 1850 Clinton 1696. Less than 200 between them. 154 pledge delegates to be exact.
Ah sorry Obama it takes 2,025 to win the nomination and you won't have that number going into the convention. So Obama pundits and sages can trash talk and whine all they want...boo hoo boo hoo. Senator Clinton is going all the way to the convention. Sorry NBC boys, Sister Hillary is not taking any baloney BS from you any time soon, and either am I.

Michael, I am not surprised at Obama's numbers. And I am not offended by your confidence in him. I do wonder why someone with your experience in Washington (which I, too, have - on the newspapering side) has forgotten that those numbers wer gained largely through Republicans who registered as Democrats to vote in the primaries for the candidate they want to face this fall. That's not opinion, you saw it reported live during the primaries. It's legal, as distasteful as it is, because this is America. But we know it's happening, and we don't seem to be able to put the train back on the rails. I don't believe the superdelegates will be able to do their job, which is to keep the train steady despite the crazies that are running it. So I'll accept that Obama is the nominee. Can you accept why I can't vote for him?

It does not matter how he got the votes. He has them and that is all that matters.

Hillary, the only candidate that can deliver a speech without a teleprompter. She has earned every vote.

"Clinton campaign opposes giving Obama more Mich. delegates
Michigan Democrats on Wednesday voted to back a plan that would give Clinton 69 delegates -- four fewer than the 73 she gained by winning the state's Jan. 15 primary. Obama would get 59 pledged delegates even though he took his name off the ballot, forcing his supporters to vote for Uncommitted.

Clinton campaign spokesman Isaac Baker said Thursday the campaign won't support any proposal that gives Clinton fewer delegates than she earned by winning the primary. The New York senator trails Obama in the race for the nomination by about 150 delegates, and is seeking to close the gap with delegates from Florida and Michigan. "

I just read about it. Obama was not the only candidate that received uncommitted votes in the primary....Edwards, Biden, Richardson were not on the ballot either. Why should Obama get the full percentage of uncommitted votes? It is my understanding that Debbie Dingell begged Obama to keep his name on the ballot and he chose not to.

"...he took his name off the ballot, forcing his supporters to vote for Uncommitted."

Obama learned a lot from Antonio Rezko who was in the Play to Pay "Shell Game". He knows a lot from all of the Insiders in Chicago from Church Politics to Dirty Polics.

Oh, yeah, you all just love to ignore his out and out lies, "I do not recall meeting Nadhmi Auchi" when the Rezko star witness testified that Obama toasted Auchi at the welcoming dinner party.

You Obama people are really headstrong in your inability to see that you I-Con Man is really someone who learned how to break the laws and keep himself looking clean.

You are either brainwashed or bullheaded to think that a man who can betray people, disown them and act like he is Mr. Clean not Dirty is really going to give you Hope. It is obvious that he is not Clean and it is not obvious that he is Cleared on all further charges in the future. You are going to have to have a team of attorneys regularly sweeping the net for people who might wash up onto the news shores.

Oh, you had not thought about Impeachment yet either. Well, they chased Bill all the way into his privates to Impeach him. Wow, they do not even need to go that far with Obama. Some day, some one is going to need to keep him or herself out of prison and they are going to sing songs which will bring us all to recall this period of Pimp-les popped out of our Party.

Barack Obama should withdraw as a presidential candidate. Immediately.

Barack Obama should withdraw as a presidential candidate. Immediately. The latest evidence of his professional corruption is going to doom the Democratic Party.

Although the L. A. Times' reporters have tried to present Obama's crooked deal in a fair and balanced way, there is no way you can avoid the conclusion that the substance of the transaction was intended to conceal that Obama was engaging in political money laundering to disguise the source of his income. Obama is exposed as just another corrupt African-American legislator in Illinois cutting deals for other African-Americans. Is it any wonder he became the protégÃ&co py; of sleazy Senator Emil Jones in the Illinois senate?

Why was Obama's Blackwell deal 'money laundering?' The L. A. Times story is not clear on that point. Laundering was involved because Obama used 'disclosure' to conceal the source of his income while a public official. Obama's game also exposes that in Illinois even good government types, such as Cynthia Canary, can be corrupted. Canary tries to whitewash something that she would strongly condemn if the practice had been engaged in by any other legislator. In other words, Obama has even managed to corrupt Canary and the integrity of her organization. It's disgusting.
