November 4 signaled a monumental change in the landscape of America. We have made tremendous gains in the US House of Representatives, US Senate, and NY State Senate. This is not mentioning the overwhelming victory of President-Elect Barack Obama. The Young Democrat Association of Fulton County strapped on its work boots and provided needed help in these victories.
We don�t want stop now. We would like to further our gains. We want to increase our membership and provide the needed help for the 2009 fall campaigns. What we need are funds. We are looking forward to our fund raisers of family game nights, mini golf tournaments, bowling events, and our big give a way. We have even changed our name to Friends of Foothills Democrats.
First and foremost we are asking for donations. Any amount is welcomed and appreciated! Our big give a way is with a $25.00 donation your name is placed in the running for either a 1979 CB750 Honda Motorcycle or its equivalent value of $800.00.
