Like many other Americans I contacted my senators and congressmen not to support the Wall Street Bailout. I explained that even though I am living on a 100% VA disability ($33K per year) I manage to pay my bills and still live comfortably. Of course I use restraints on how I use my income like no smoking and limited eating out at restaurants but still enjoy myself.
For a fact Secretary Paulsun is a Wall Street insider and concerned about his buddies. The bailout will stablize some investors, for example civil service retirement, 401K and IRAs but what about Americans who make $10 an hour without health care or retirement?
Welcome to the new global power, the United States of Corporate America.

You know the big Corporations get all the breaks. McCain is an ass. During the debate he emphasized that the Corporate tax rate is 35%. I learned in business school that if a Corporation pays more than 6% in taxes, they need to fire their tax accountants.
But I know for a fact that small Business owners have it hard. Making payroll every week is a stress factor. Paying those quarterly income taxes is a stress factor. Being able to secure a bridge loan is important. It is important to pay those employees.
We are damned if we do and damned if we don't.
It's a boost to have strict oversight to the last 2 remaining banks, to keep loans afloat and keep business thriving, to address gridlock.
If you don't support it, then you're willing to give up everything you ever worked for.
I'm following Barack's lead, I'm not going to follow the lead of a 'gambler'. The gambler is FOR the United States of Corporate America, not laborers of America. Barack is standing with us...WE are the foundation, not corporations. The corporation should be paying us, and that's why he's taking on corruption, and will reverse the de-regulation that McCain inflicted that caused this crisis in the first place.

It's a bailout. Do some research outside of this forum. Try the Cato institute, they a little about the market place.
