32 is twice as much as 16 - What the Clinton and Obama people must admit.

We each have half - a hard fought half. This is the NBA playoffs and this is a tight game. Everything counts - Sweetie gate counts - as much as White voters comments count - as much as Rev. Wright comments counts - as much as Jackson won South Carolina counts - as much as Bitter counts and on and on.

There are some issues that some want to stand up and say that's a deal breaker. So be it. I almost gave up baseball when the umpires helped Kenny Rogers cover up the gold hand. But the Cards won the series and I moved on.

There are people in Sacremento who still believe the Lakers with help from the refs stole a couple of series from them. So be it.

Anytime it's close - there will be people fighting for every inch of territory. It's the nature of the game.

The hard part of this game is the fans - in this game the fans count as much as the players. At the heart of a lot of hard feelings is how the fans of the players treat each other.

I've heard two often from both sides that the other side is hateful and is pushing us away. I'd rather sit out than sit on the same sideline as them.

Who is right or wrong is not as important as how we treat each other. It's frankly a little mind boggling. You see for us to win - we have to both realize that 32 is double 16. 32 wins easily for both.

So what is at stake and what do we need to get the 32. The first thing is that we have to admit that the two players with 16 are both skilled. You don't luck up 16. You can't buy 16 in the media - you can't call in old favors for 16 - you can't lie your way - you can't fake your way. Since no one before has even seen 16 we must believe they have both earned it.

Second - we must all admit that the fans influence on the 16 is secondary to the players influence on the 16 - since both players earned it. It would be like me saying I'm the champ just because the Cardinals won. We are all coattailers here.

Third - we (all of us) have to address our on issues of elitism. Do the Clinton people feel they are entitled to the nomination no matter what the votes say? Do the Obama people feel they can push the Clinton people aside because they are old and out of touch? Should we have anything in us that says something different than -
I have made up my own mind - I'm going with that - and not hating on anyone else for their decision. Their decision is wrong - wrong - wrong for me - but it's right - right - right for them.

Fourth - Do not extend the hand of friendship to the other side. We don't have to be friends to have common goals and work orders. Agree on this issue to disagree - but agree that 32 is double 16 - and 32 makes us all winners.

The alternative to 32 is - rewarding the criminal we now call President.

Have a good weekend everyone - I am out until Monday.

Special thank you to Mgck - Jackie - Annie - Barb - Maggie - Sue Sue -

In my heart - we all want the same thing - we just have to work to get it without killing each other.

Hillary has 17 states

Obama has 32

Total Delegates
Obama 1904.5 Clinton 1718.5

Obama needs 120.5 total delegates for the nomination.

He has been getting an average of 4 a day. On that assumed trickle. On Tuesday he will have 1920.5. total delegates.

The delegates he is likely to pick up on Tuesday leave him with only about 50 or 60 more needed delegates after Tuesday.

I would not be surprised if he got those on Wednesday morning.
