Karstar vs Sandi - A Small Request Please

You have made your mind up about Senator Obama. You wish to hurt the entire party because he is on the ticket.
There are many who agree with you about him. There are not many who agree with you about the whole party.
Taken to its final extent - it would leave the Republicans in power - since they would also recapture the house and the senate. The same party that stole the 2000 and 2004 presidential elections.
I can't - in all good conscious except that. Those Republicans are just as guilty as Bush for the War - the Economy - the lack of Health Care.
If you wish to hate Obama - be free. If you wish to blow up the entire party - and take the country down the tubes with you - be out.
It's not fair to those of us who have others that depend upon people that have to make better choices this election.
I am asking that you consider other Democrats - many who like Obama no better than you - have a right to run for Senate and Congress and local offices without someone saying the whole party is totally without honor.

Thank you.

as many Democrats, congressmen, senators, State representatives, business owners...just about an equal balance...so why are we in this mess...Did the Democrats turn tail and cave...do they have a vested interest in the direction this country is going?

I apoligize for incroaching on your blog...but its this kind of close minded thinking that is hurting the truth from getting out.

Gee Betty Lou - No need to apologize.

A. You do it all the time.
B. I never take offense.

Betty Lou - you are only partially right. Many dems looked the other way. Today we have a sea of change coming that will give Dems unprecidented power. Be criticial of them in 4 years not 2. We just took the house a couple of years ago - lets see what we can do with a rolling majority.

By the way - when are you going to stop calling me names?

Freedom of Speach
By Sandi May 16th 2008 at 3:26 pm EDT
I am sorry you want to take my amendment rights away. I have been with this party a very long time. If I tell the truth and it hurts Obama, that is my party right to tell the truth. I have told nothing on this blog is not the truth. I have researched, I have experience in health care insurance, and am informed. Deal with it.

Sandi: Send your children or grandchildren to Iraq in the "Surge" of 2015 and let me know how that works for you. We have TWO choices! War: No War.

Vote away! Deal with THAT!

I have members of my family in Iraq. If I sell out my freedom of speech and stand for the truth, what do I give them. NOTHING!

How then can you POSSIBLY want to vote for someone who will keep sending your family members back there? I'd vote for Attilla the Hun first if it were my family!

Don't go with that attitude.

Now all three have said they will get out of Iraq. If you believe a politician then so be it!

I will not take the blame for Iraq, Iran, Afghaistan or any other country because I refuse to vote for Obama. I will not vote for McCain but will write in Clinton, whether it counts or not! To say that we send those kids to their deaths is the same attitude of the GOPee, fear at its worse!

I will vote in the local elections to support the democratic party but will not vote for an incumbent that has someone new running against them (dem). If our elected representatives do their job this war will end no matter who is president so get off that guilt thing. It just makes matters worse.

You want Obama and we want Clinton, end of story. The fight isn't over yet except in the minds of those who don't want the democratic process to proceed as it should.

Now we have the gutless wonders coming out of the woodwork (used to be called rats) to support a candidate to sway the election in their own feeble minded manner. Nobody likes to be a loser but it used to be the winner would help the loser back to his feet. That isn't happening and I see no end to it!

Sorry Sandi -

If that's it I apologize.

By all means post as you feel. I disagree and thought we could see eye to eye.

If the party you supported can pick one man you hate that votes the same as Senator Clinton and it makes the entire party no good -

Then by all means continue. Just had to know where you stood.

Sandi you tell other people's opinions, not facts. It seems you have a personal strong dislike for Obama and I pick it up all the time when I read your comments. You never have any positive or even be neutral, it's always dislike or should I say hate. Calling it as I see it.

I found Sandi's Hitler comments the other day personally offensive. I think there is a way to disagree without being offensive. Obama has done NOTHING to this country this is offenisve or harmful.

With that said, the Clintons have to an extent. While I realize that many will see that what happened during Clinton's second term was political, it was also harmful. Clinton's lying, the impeachment, the digging in during investigations, not cooperating all hurt the country and the party. The impeachment was the icing on the cake and in many aspects the reason we lost the 2000 election. Gore has always been an upstanding, beyond reproach kind of man who was sullied by Clinton's actions. People here can say way they want, but the Clinton's ARE NOT PERFECT INDIVIDUALS. Moreover, Bill Clinton is about to go to trial in October. So if you think that would not hurt Clinton and the Democratic party come November should she be the nominee, you are sadly mistaken.

I digressed. I am tried of Obama being made out to be the HORRIBLE person and as a result, we who support him are being villified.

While I may not like Sen. Clinton, I have praised her and given her credit where credit is due because I am able to see things objectively. Objectivity is something many Clinton supporters DO NOT HAVE!

Sue, you should write the book on "straight talk"--there seem to be a lot of folks who need to study up on it.

Well if she hates the both of us - I'm cool.

Just joking -

Jackie thank you.

I'm done with it - she has to do what she thinks is right and so do I.

Clintonites are maniacs in love with Clinton. I think this is going both ways. But you do not find as many Obama supporters saying they would rather have the country continue on the same road and vote for McCain. I have said I might stay home if one of my friends to take me kicking and screaming to pull the lever to Clinton. But that will probably change too the more the Bush people keep pissing me off.

You answer the majority of posts n o bama.....that is a little out there at times and yet you NEVER succinctly and clearly state why you hate him so. Is it his policies....no can't be because his policies are the same as hers. What is it?

No--annie is scared to say its because he is black because she knows she would be left alone with no one to back her up.

Your posts are part of the problem Did, dig and dig. We aren't any more a maniac than you are unless you read some of your own posts!

The party has a big problem and you sure help it come together don't you?

Why does Sandi hate you? You are a Clinton supporter....perhaps it's as I have said before: You are a WORTHY and Honorable opponent!
