Obama makes us proud to be democrats.

The republicans are a long ways off from realizing equality, integrity, and compassion.

Knowing that, we are so far ahead of them.

Clearly the differences between our two parties are simple.

We are not only progressive, we have evolved far beyond the dismal days of bigotry, sexism, greed, and violence.

We are the party of evolution, of the future, and of the perseverance of mankind.

We are the democrats.

We overcome obstacles.

We work with problems to create solutions, not deny and sweep them under a rug.

We deal with problems, because we are capable and willing to deal with them.

What ever the problem, we can work through it and rise above it.

No matter how much the republicans have screwed things us, we can handle it, because we are the democrats.

What a night, what a party!

Good night.

Obama/Biden 08 !

I have been so inspired as I watched the convention on C-Span every day this week.

Although I am an Independent, I am fully committed to doing EVERYTHING I can to see McBush defeated in November.

Senator Clinton, Bill Clinton, Joe Biden, Beau Biden, Michelle Obama, I could go on and on, have all been phenomenal.

I am FIRED UP and will continue doing my part in helping to see Senators Obama and Biden win in November.

A win for them is a WIN for our GREAT COUNTRY!

Obama/Biden '08

P.S. My eyes and my brain are so tired - I hope my post makes sense:).

Goodnight.

Fired up and ready to go. I watched convention every night, too. My favorite is the rancher from Montana. I laughed my butt off.
Yup, people seem like they are having a great time...

You are an example of a true democrat and are leading by example. This race has been long and hard but we do work through the probelems and get into solutions. It was nice to see Bill Clinton be recieved so warmly. They all have been recieved so warmly and it makes you proud to be a democrat. "It's been a long time coming but a change is gonna come". 5 stars!

You know, we in Chicago are feisty when it comes to politics. At this convention, however, there were politicians hugging each other who normally don't even speak! Looks like our governor is making amends within our state senate.

It really is a warm and historical event for us.

Obama and Biden are bringing out the best in the democrats!

Agreed. When Jesse jackson spoke to Bobby Rush and then Bobby came to him and hugged him was moving. Also when Mayor Daley got up and hugged Jesse Jackson Jr. and he choked up with tears. Even for Rob and Mike was a good gesture. Some were really trying to make amends to each other and that was great.
Wow

Wow, you are in the know! Are you from Chicago too, or did they have some news coverage of that great moment?
