ouch!
By Barbara"Obama/Biden"Hussein Jul 7th 2008 at 7:13 am EDT
Well considering the period in time that our four fathers were still alive. And the fact that one side of my family was exploiting the other side of my family for economic gain. I dont want to imagine what our four fathers would say at all.

That was a very dark period in time for 3/4 of Americas population.

yeah, you fail to see that some of those 'white wigs' assisted your ancestors so they could became free, and now you are.

In this time period you live, you have opportunity to have a job, freedom and vote power, but you'd rather whine about what happened to your ancestors and I had nothing to do with it.

My post wasn't about black ancestry and heritage, but rather about what they would do in our dispensation to address our families, not white families, or black families, but the melting pot we have living here. America isn't just black and white, it's diverse. Your own perspective suppresses you.

Cute. I like that.

And they were politicians none the less. I think they would have been more diligent and worked on it expediently to address the issues though. We'll get there, hopefully.

I don't know but. . .

As far as I'm concerned it likely would not be as good as the solutions that our Democratic leaders will bring forth.

Remember, our forefathers that many love to brag about were the same ones who only allowed men to vote and only white men and that AND only white men who owned propertly.

I'm not to enamoured regarding the solutions that they could/would devise.

Yeah, but I think they'd still roll in their grave at what we've done to the Constitution, and how Congressmen work only on campaign funding to maintain their seats. Look where we'd be if we didn't have any Constitution or guidelines.

My point only is: that they would have worked.
We are where we're at because of some of the laws they laid down, sure each state tweaked them and why each state is different today. I just wish politicians would take our issues seriously, we could have wind power, electric cars, drill for oil...instead of debate it to deathhhhh. That's all my post was about.

Government serves two purposes: taxes and protection. True, government grew, but each state adopts it's own laws beyond our federal laws.

I guess my deep seeded desire would be for government to have the balls to tax industry at a higher rate than they do and this money could be invested in technology that would benefit everyone on the food chain downwind.

Hi Liz. I agree. I dont believe their plan would have benefitted anyone non-white-male that lived in America during that time. In fact I believe 3/4 of the population would not have like approved of any plan they wouldnt come up with, but couldnt have done anything about it. No Voice, no vote. no power. WOW! America has come so far. Thank God!

energy solutions for our families here, instead of fearing those white wigs and history.
