By Vidya Mar 16th 2008 at 12:04 pm EDT
sometimes it's hard to find compassion and forgiveness, as long as FOS is behaving appropriately, her slate is clean with me.

FOS can't be all bad... though I haven't checked her latest blog....
LOL.

Pastor Manning

Now this is who FOX News needs to interview. He is really extreme to the max.

Now I know why the Clintons had no comment on Rev. Wrong. Because Manning is worse. He said Barack Obama was White Trash. Crickets From Camp Clinton.

I am at a loss for words. Another example of why I have no faith in religion anymore--it has been thoroughly corrupted by humans--that's why I do not attend ANY church although I believe in God.
Yes dear FOS..and BARB
By Vidya Mar 16th 2008 at 12:49 pm EDT
I do not support any organized religion either but it is also important to make the distinction that while he may be a supporter of her, nut case that he is, she is not a member of his congregation......One more huge difference, between Hillary and Barack.

I agree but not Hillary
By Liz Mar 16th 2008 at 12:24 pm EDT
I have a hard time "being proud" of a candidate who has all this as part of her record--a record that I'm sure the Republicans are hoping that they will be able to throw in our faces. And it doesn't make any difference if it is printed here or not. If you think they don't know, you are foolish.

1. According to court transcripts Hillary aggressively impugned a 12 year old rape victim on the witness stand. At the time Hillary was defending the adult male who raped the child.

2. According to court transcripts Hillary got a 300 pound male, who severely beat up his girlfriend, off on a technicality in spite of the fact that it was an open and closed case with police witnesses who were to testify.

3. Hillary was part of an administration that passed the welfare reform known as TANF. This bill puts a time limit on poverty of five years and hurts single mothers and their children more than anyone else.

4. Hillary was a paid member of the board for Wal-Mart for six years. This union busting corporation had the worst record for wage discrimination against women of any US corporation and it continues to hold such a record. Hillary did nothing apparent to right this wrong.

5. Hillary was part of an administration that would not even call a cabinet meeting to discuss Rwanda. They sat by and did nothing while over 800,000 human beings were hacked to death. When 8 African nations requested 15 carriers to help them get people out of the country, the Clinton told them that they would have to pay $15 million for the carriers. These carriers sat on a tarmac in Germany while the African nations scrambled to get the money.

6. Hillary was part of an administration that followed the conventional wisdom of the previous republican administrations and refused to talk to Saddam and continued the sanctions. In 2000 a study conducted by the United Nations found that during the 1990’s that 500,000 Iraqi children under the ages of 5 years died as a result of those sanctions. Madeline Albright called the deaths “unfortunat e†but a price worth paying.

7. September 6, 2006 Hillary crossed party lines to vote against a democratic amendment that would have limited the use of cluster bombs (a munition that claims women and children as its victims) in Iraq. Obama supported the limitation.
LIZ,,,,,,

amazing how one sided misguided can be...

She was an attorney, that was her job, do you know the percentage of false accusations in rape cases? Am guessing not.
The point is in order to have experience, a defense attorney is a good start, doing your job well, is an understanding of the law and due process. No one said the justice system is without flaw on the contrary there injustice within it at staggering degrees, none the less, she was effective, and professional.

TANF was a 5 year program to help educate single mothers and get them through a period of transition and into the work force, it even helped with wardrobe... where do you get your info a cave?

If you don't get the Wall mart thing by now after I have clearly pointed out to you that she was a hired attorney, and resigned when they did not adhere to her suggestions, than you are... well like talking to a broken record.

Are you not aware of what happened in Africa, Black Hawk down, etc... during the Clinton administration?

The cluster bomb was a revision issue.... was there anything else....?

Popular vote
By Matt R Mar 16th 2008 at 12:26 pm EDT
If referring to someone as the People's choice, shouldn't they be leading in the popular vote?

He was leading in TEXAS, and she took it! Right out from under his Hate America ways.

Well you go ahead and tell the people of Michigan, Florida they don't exist and while you are at it tell the people of W Virgina they are "symbolic" only. Looks like Bush math to me, they got their candidate and they will remain in power. The day this party makes BHO the nominee over HRC is the day I change my party affiliation.

stop the insanity!
By SpyGirl Mar 16th 2008 at 12:38 pm EDT
Barack is not an honest guy, him and his wife supported this man's ways for 20 yrs. He has too many friends, that hate AMERICA. Why give him, and his friends, the chance to cause more harm?

Do you hate simply because someone you know hates?

Your reasoning is illogical. I have had a few people in my life that are not necessarily the nicest people in the world and have said things that are hateful and disrespectful, but I still care about them. According to your reasoning, because I associate with them, even though I don't believe everything they believe, I am dishonest somehow and am denying that I really believe their point of view, even though I don't.

So that means.. for me at least.. that even though my grandparents didn't think being gay is proper, that I am a sinner and going to hell, I should not have loved them. They have given me guidance and have taught me important lessons, but I should, according to your reasoning, renounce everything that I was taught by them. So that means the lessons in love and forgiveness and caring they taught me are void now right? And that even though they said things I didn't agree with.. I am.. according to you.. guilty by association.. so therefore I should condemn and hate myself. Is that right?

I would challenge you to look into your own past. Did you always agree with everything your parents said? Do you believe exactly EVERYTHING they believed to be true?

Just some food for thought.

Peace,
TJ
