I am not alone. I come hear everyday and read what has been posted hoping to find something that will make me feel like I belong, I have been a Democrat all mi life and have never considered voting for a Republican and will not now but I find myself and my family not happy. Yes I am from MI so I am in a very big part still not understanding the democratic party or the people that call there self democrat's allowing for any vote not counting and then to count them after the fact is just as wrong. I due not think Obama is a bad person he is just another politician, He does not excite me. Yes, I think we could of run any candidate and beat the republicans, I just don't like the direction the Democratic Party has taken to get hear. So, I will keep reading and looking for something that I am not sure exist .

I am excited and look forward to the presidency of Barack Obama with great hope.

However, I am confident that if he does not bring the change that he has promised that he will indeed be a one-term president and the president that we elect in 2012 with be neither a Democrat NOR a Republican.

Americans are fed up and we are even more fed up with our Congress whome we elected on a mandate to end the war in 2006.

is why I am an Independent with Democratic leanings. I do not believe in a two party system.

HOWEVER, we must not allow another 4 years of Republican rule!

Democrats 08!

I am so tired of voting for one so we don't get the other. Our primary system is broken and it must be fixed so we do not Self Destruct any more. We don't vote for Issues any more much less even hear the issues discussed.

I hear you. Voting Anti-X is frustrating to say the least. Hence, my support for more VIABLE political parties in this country.

I beg to differ on one point, however. There is a MASSIVE bloc out there that votes on one issue and one issue only--Abortion.

One issue voters are being used by both party's. One issue voters like not having to do any research on Issues, They just pick one issue and that is all the do. How can you protect your one issue if you vote against everything else you believe in because you don't no the issues. There is always more the one issue and I think we need to look at them all.
