Suspend habeas corpus, rewrite Geneva to build loopholes, ignore the Balance of Powers, select at signing how you'll choose to interpret and follow laws, side step oversight with FISA, legislate a travesty of military tribunals, send a John Bolton - antagonistic to the UN as our ambassador to it - around the Advice and Consent of the Senate, not once out of the pressure of time, but twice ... what a sorry state.
Is it any wonder America is distrusted? Are the madmen in North Korea and Iran starting to seem justified in wanting a deterrent for the out of control superpower? Sadly, I fear they have an uncomfortable point.
America has earned distrust by the actions we've taken. Hotheadedly, without listening to our Allies with experience in the circumstances, without heeding the opinion of the World, without acknowledging the errors made. forgeing deeper and more precipitously on a wrong-headed course.

Sounding a note of exasperation, Mr. Bolton protested as “simply incorrect” the interpretation that Chapter VII sets a pretext for military force, as many countries at the United Nations believe it did in Iraq.
