Iraq , the economy, healthcare, education, new alternative fuels, etc. take a backseat, and will be put on hold for four more yrs.......but you got a woman! And what a woman? She has had almost two yrs. as govenor of Alaska,.....anything else....oh! she is 3 yrs. younger than Obama! And she wears pantsuits! Grandpa' and his grandaughter have arrived!!!!!

I don't there is any eveidence to support that "the bounce" is from unhappy former female Clinton supporters. I suspect we'll find it's from the previously uncommitted religious right.

It is the person not the gender

While I waited for Hillary to respond to the "We the people" in the diversity of the Party, including Liberals that believe in the Constitution, I never once thought her gender was an asset or determent to her qualifications. The is a giant in her own right, without Bill's shadow. I may not agree with her at times but she is a strong Democrat that I wish she will find all elements in the Democratic Party.

This statement is counter productive, just as race is. It is what is inside the shell that counts. Why would anybody say this but to divide the Democratic Party.

He says things like this frequently. He is not an asset to Obama's campaign. In fact OS has driven many people away from Obama with his rantings. Let's hope he keeps ranting.

the bounce has nothing to do with a woman

The BOUNCE has everything to do with the fact that Sarah Palin with her horrid right-wing, religious bigotory has electrified the Republican base and the extreme religious right wing.

had McCain's choice been Kay Bailey Hutchison, or any other more moderate Republican female, they would not be nearly so excited.

This has nothing to do with Hillary or with female supporter and EVERYTHING TO DO WITH RIGHT-WING EXTREMISM--EVEN WORSE THAN GEORGE BUSH.

SARAH PALIN IS NOT MORE OF THE SAME. SARAH PALIN IS EVEN WORSE.
