McCain and Foreign Policy

How many more of these will it take before we finally dispense with the idea that John McCain is some sort of foreign policy genius who is uniquely qualified to be commander-in-chief? Today on “Good Morning America,” John McCain was asked whether he agreed with Barack Obama when he says the situation in Afghanistan is “precarious and urgent.” In predictable fashion, McCain downplays the significance of the deteriorating security situation there. In perhaps less predictable fashion, he magically redraws the borders of two Middle Eastern countries

We have a lot of work to do. It’s a very hard struggle, particularly given the situation on the Iraq-Pakistan border.

I doubt anyone here really needs me to do this, but here we go:

As you can clearly see, there is no common border between Iraq and Pakistan. Just another gaffe to add to the pile.

With the 'Iraq-Paki' border and 'Czechoslovakia' perhaps it is time for McCain to enroll in an online World Geography course...perhaps the money generated from LPDs game could be used for the tuition!

No, Obama is going to need the money to get people on board with foreign policy, education, healthcare, you name it.....he needs it.

You are right. McCain is closing the gap in some polls. I think the honeymoon is ending for Obama and the press. Obama needs all the help he can get.

McCain is brain dead

The man doesn't know anything. He's ignorant on economic issues. It's obvious that he's confused about the Iraqi people. Clearly, he can't keep Iran and Iraq straight. Now this ...

McCain ... same as Bush ... just older and more corrupt.

McCain is not the sharpest tool in the shed. He would best serve our country by remaining in the US Senate or better yet, retiring.
