Dear Jonathan Stein:

If you didn't already know, you should have asked somebody. Black people don't need a symbol. Black people need good paying jobs!

Sincerely,
pee-wee

...We could have put a BLACK President in the White House ANYTIME in the last 10 or 15 years... this "racial" achievement in Socio-Political upward mobility is really limited; the actual significance of Barack Obama (as a "African American" President) is minimal. As a Mixed Raced Native American creole; I have to say; he is merely more of a CREOLE man of color and culture.

Natives and Blacks have been destroying REAL and SYMBOLIC vocational thresholds for the past 50 years... as individual leaders and success stories. But the AVERAGE, mean, ethnic blue-collar working man is STILL in the gutter. Scraping for jobs; succumbing to drugs and alcohol; dropping out of highschool and/or post-secondary school; getting murdered (or murdering); etc.

The mean/ average ethnic working-class man is STILL living a shameful and pathetic LIE beneath the shadow the MIDDLE-CLASS and UPPER-CLASS neo-PROGRESSIVE (aka American Social Liberal) SHADOW.
